  Normally, I am very happy and satisfied with the cars I rent from you, however, this rental was not so great. When we picked the car I did notice a couple of black ants on the car, I killed them and continued to inspect the car. Satisfied with the inspection, we checked out continued our day. The next morning, I noticed lots of the same black ants all over the car. They were coming out of crevices and as soon as I killed them more came out. It was really gross. I was waiting in the car for my son to finish his appointment and I saw that the ants came into the car and a couple even got on me. I called customer service the agent was very nice and helpful. He apologized and said we could return the car and get a new one. We did take the car back and the agent at drop off was also very kind and apologetic. We went to choose another car and did a very thorough inspection...no ants or so we thought. Later that same afternoon, we found ants on the new car. Thankfully it was not that many but it was disappointing to see them again. We also found a few on the last day of our rental. When we returned the car, I told the agent what had happened explaining that this was our second car because of the ants. He was also very kind and apologetic and he credited me a day's rental for the inconvenience. I was so surprised and very grateful. I know this normally doesn't happen, as I said this is the first time I had found critters on the car. Hopefully this won't happen again. I very much appreciate your agents kindness and understanding. That alone made me feel heard and understood.   Evette went above and beyond to help my 80 year old parents, who managed to fly all the way to Hawaii without their cell phones. I’m sincerely touched by her level of concern and kindness. Her dedication to actually solve a complicated problem on behalf of a distraught customer was so inspiring and appreciated.

  I got my car and noticed someone wrote on the back window prior it being washed. I let the gate agent know on my way out who took photos and let the manager know. The manager called me soon after leaving and apologized repeatedly and also refunded charges. I appreciated the offer and know that sometimes things are overlooked. Hopefully this won’t continue because I like renting from National.

  Rented a Car from National in Honolulu, Hawaii last week. The interior of the car was filthy & disgusting. When I returned my car I was the first one to arrive at car return, no one came to check me out. So I walk to desk & ask why no one could check me out. She said they were busy checking out the cars that came in before they opened at 5AM. As I walked back to my car to wait longer. 5 cars pulled up in the next lane & they were being checked out. I stopped one of the attendants & I told her I was there before these 5 cars & no one would check me out. So she called a big guy & he said I already checked you out, you’re in the silver car. I said no I was in the white car. He was very rude & said I’ll get to you. I just left. This occurred 5:00 AM on 4/17/2026. Will never use National again. Terrible experience!!

  This wasn’t just a rental, this was one of those experiences that completely changes how you look at a company. After a pretty frustrating situation with Sixt (to be clear, the representatives there were kind and helpful, this is about the company itself), we decided to walk over to Enterprise and National. That decision honestly made our entire day. Jojo at Enterprise immediately stepped in and guided us in the right direction, taking into account our Enterprise and National Executive status. You could tell she knew exactly what she was doing. Calm, sharp, and genuinely looking out for us. Then came Alfredo from National and this man is on another level. He didn’t just hand us keys and move on. He personally walked us to the lot, helped us choose the right car, and made sure we were getting the best possible upgrade and deal. That kind of effort is rare. This isn’t even my first great experience with Enterprise and National. Time and time again they’ve delivered. Great service, smooth process, just genuinely good people. But this one sealed it. From now on it’s simple. National and Enterprise only. No more third party bookings, no more looking for better deals. I’d rather go straight to people who actually take care of their customers. Special and many many thanks to my man Alfredo, the best, and Jojo from Enterprise for making our day awesome again.
