  Pick up was super easy. We only had two cars to choose from both the same and both were not cleaned. We choose the one with less scratches . Both were equally low to the ground. If you’re a senior it may be difficult getting in and out. Windows and side mirrors were spotted and very dirty. Windshield also was streaked and dirty. The trunk was clean and large. Inside of car was worn and not vacuumed well. There was lots of sand on floor mats and seats. The car drove well and got decent gas mileage. It served us well. We would have preferred a cleaner vehicle. The return was super easy and pain free. Price was high but we were in Hawaii and everything is elevated. Their team was very friendly and accommodating. We usually always rent from Enterprise because of their great team. They do get us in and out quickly.

  The check-in process was straightforward and the people were very easy to work with. That said, because my husband's driver's license had a crack through the number they would not allow him to drive the vehicle. They acknowledged the numbers were very legible, but because it had a crack in it, they would not accept it. This is a very poor policy as it left us with one driver, so when one driver is tired there is no relief. Also, I am not comfortable with big city driving so it resulted in several very stressful days. Lastly, they put my name in place in my husband's on his account, so it screwed up our reservation in the next airport. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

  The staff was very very friendly! The car was mid, however. It was raining the whole time in Oahu while we were visiting. Walking in the rain and tracking the rain into the car left it smelling absolutely terrible. I tried scrubbing the floor, spraying, and letting the car air out. It wasn’t until the car dried that the smell went away which leads me to believe it’s a smell that is stuck in the carpet. Didn’t love that. Even my husband who isn’t sensitive to smells at all, was HATING the smell. The car also had an issue of being stuck in third gear and not downshifting. It happened a handful of times. I did notify Enterprise about that issue and they said we could trade in the vehicle. But with two littles in tow it wasn’t very easy to do so. I’ve never really had issues with enterprise rentals, so I was very surprised by this experience.

  The Enterprise car rental at the Honolulu airport exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly. The rental location was easy to locate after arriving from our flight and we had plenty of time to make our rental time at the date provided. The Checkin process was quick since I already completed the Checkin process online before arriving. The car pickup location was convenient and we were provided the opportunity to choose the car from the lot that we preferred. The car we chose was clean and had a full tank of fuel. The car drove great and did not have any issues. It helped that the car we chose had a large trunk space for our luggage and a working car play to use my phone for navigation purposes. The checkout from the return was quick as well giving us plenty of time to relax and get a grab of bite to eat before our boarding. I highly recommend Enterprise car rental at the Honolulu airport.

  My experience with Enterprise at HNL was 5 stars! My original rental pick up time was 5:30pm, but due to flight delays we didn’t get there until closer to 10:15pm. I called ahead to let them know I’d be late and they kindly told me that it was no problem at all. When I arrived at the rental office located in HNL, there was no line. I went to the counter and secured my rental as outlined in my rental agreement. Because I had my return flight ticket/itinerary, I was able to pay with my debit card. From there, I was directed to the parking garage to pick up the rental car. There was a selection of 4-5 “compact” vehicles. I was very happy with my selection of a Nissan Sentra. It was modern, clean, and had a full tank of gas. I had no issues with the car at all during my 6 days with it on Oahu. Returning he vehicle was even easier. I simply drove to the Enterprise rental return where I was greeted by enterprise employees. They checked the car quickly and sent me on my way. All in all, it was a very simple and easy rental process from start to finish! I do recommend renting a car on Oahu if you plan on doing a lot of hiking and excursions, especially in the North Shore. It was incredibly convenient to have a car and parking around the island was not an issue.
