  Purchased a Volvo from this location and it couldn’t have gone better. Best dealership experience I’ve ever had. Dennis & Darryl were top notch making sure we were kept informed, provided accurate info without the typical dealership runaround, and ensured the process went smoothly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking a new Volvo. Ask for Dennis!

  I want to start by expressing my appreciation for the sales team—they’ve been fantastic, providing great customer service from the very beginning. I absolutely love my Volvo, which I bought in June. However, I’ve encountered significant challenges with the service department. After the check engine light came on in my nearly brand-new car, it took almost three months to secure an appointment. I finally had my appointment on November 17th, and while I was initially told the issue was resolved, the light came back on just 20 minutes after I left the dealership. I was informed that a part needed to be ordered and that it should arrive within a week. Unfortunately, it’s now been four weeks without any updates, and my calls—including voicemails—have gone unanswered. As someone who works in customer service, I find this experience quite concerning. I was excited about my transition from Honda and Volkswagen to Volvo, and I believe that timely care for a brand-new vehicle is essential. I hope to see improvements in communication and service moving forward.

  I want to take a moment to recognize Jenny Stinson, the Warranty Administrator, and Tobi, the Service Manager, for their exceptional support and kindness. I’ve been dealing with a difficult tire issue that originated from a mainland Volvo dealership that assembled my tire improperly, causing damage and leaving me feeling frustrated and ignored. When I reached out to Volvo Honolulu, Jenny went above and beyond to make me feel supported and understood. She listened carefully, communicated clearly, and truly made me feel like my situation mattered. Tobi was also incredible. She took the time to sit in my car with me and help me with a tech issue I’d been struggling with. I’m not very tech-savvy, and she was so patient and thorough in explaining everything step by step. Both Jenny and Tobi turned what had been a stressful experience into a positive one. Their professionalism, empathy, and genuine care for their customers deserve recognition. I’m so grateful for the outstanding service and support I received from Volvo Honolulu.

  I recently brought my car to the Volvo Honolulu service department after arriving on the island, dealing with a coolant leak and needing regular maintenance. Unfortunately, my experience has been incredibly frustrating. It's been almost impossible to get in touch with anyone in the service department, either by phone or email. On top of that, I’ve been waiting for over a month just to receive an update on replacing my windshield. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and delay in service. Sadly, it is the only Volvo dealer on Island.

  Jaypee is such a pleasure to work with. This particular shop is very busy as it is the only Volvo dealership on the island, so it may be a while before a service appointment is available, but the customer service is excellent.
