This location is using a Valet Return system to deny customers the right to a joint final inspection, only to hit them later with fraudulent damage claims. Upon return, they flagged two "damages": a 1cm dent and a <5cm superficial scratch. Here is why this is a scam: I have photographic proof: I took time-stamped, high-def photos/videos at PICK-UP that clearly show these exact marks were already there. The Valet Trap: Because you are forced to hand your keys to a valet and leave, you have no way to defend yourself or verify the car's condition at the moment of return. Integrity over Insurance: Even though I have LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) and wouldn't have to pay out of pocket, I refuse to let SIXT falsify my rental record and pin pre-existing wear and tear on me. It is a matter of honesty and professional integrity. When I confronted the staff with my pick-up photos, they were dismissive, claiming they "couldn't change the record" and that the "car was already back on the road." This proves they don't care about accuracy; they just want to process claims. WARNING TO OTHERS: * Do NOT trust their valet return. Take 360-degree videos at pick-up, even of the tiniest marks. Do not let them bully you into "accepting" damage just because you have insurance. I am filing a formal dispute with SIXT corporate and a complaint with the Hawaii DCCA. This branch needs to be investigated for its predatory claim practices.

I want to give a huge shout-out to “Dan and Rylan” for their exceptional patience and professionalism. During my stay, I transitioned from a BMW X5 to an X7, and eventually to a 7 Series. Each switch was handled smoothly thanks to their help. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I had the best driving experience in Hawaii. I was so impressed that I’ve already booked my next rental with this location for February 2026! I’m really looking forward to seeing the team again.
