They will fraudulently bill you for damages you did not cause. Rented Feb 2026 - took a dozen pictures with the Sixt app via the QR code as instructed. After returning was told all was well, then while waiting in the airport terminal for our flight, received an invoice claiming they found damage. No problem I thought, I took pictures with the Sixt app, and have pictures on my phone. They also reported incorrect mileage. I put in 3.5 gallons during the 4 day rental, drove maybe 70 miles max. They claimed I drove 672 miles - yeah right, in Oahu? I called to report the wrong mileage and that I had not damaged the vehicle. Ignored. They don't even let you dispute it. They just send a bill. I have submitted further photographic evidence taken prior to driving the vehicle off the rental lot, and have filed complaints with the BBB and Hawaii State Attorney's office. Do not rent from here, they are fraudsters.

Brandon (The Brandon) came in clutch! I really wanted a bronco for this trip and he made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. Nothing like driving around the island without a roof! Brandon took my request and personally made sure there was one ready for me. He went above and beyond and now my trip is truly off to an incredible start! Not to mention while just plugging in details we had enjoyable conversation. Give this man a raise!

Absolutely outstanding experience with Sixt – 10/10! Everything was perfect from start to finish. A special thank you to Nicole, who made the whole process seamless. She was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout. Nicole ensured that everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, making the entire rental process stress-free.
The car was also excellent – clean, well-maintained, and in top condition. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely rent from Sixt again. Highly recommended!

Even though we arrived late, the experience started on such a positive note. The person at the counter (who I believe may have been the branch manager) greeted us with great energy and went above and beyond by taking the time to write down personal restaurant recommendations for us — such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for our trip.
He also assigned us a fantastic car that we genuinely enjoyed driving throughout our stay. At one point, the car notified us that it needed service, so we brought it back to Sixt. The team handled the situation incredibly smoothly and efficiently. Jeannine, in particular, was so helpful — she made the process easy and, when the replacement car didn’t support Apple CarPlay in the way we expected, she proactively reassigned us to an even better car to make sure everything worked out.
Overall, the service was friendly, proactive, and genuinely caring from start to finish. Would highly recommend renting from Sixt if you’re visiting Hawaii — they really made the experience stress-free and memorable.

I’m writing this review specifically because of Fred. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. His customer service was outstanding. He explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the entire process. At no point did I feel rushed or taken advantage of — which really stood out to me.
Overall, my experience with Sixt was excellent. Truly 10/10 service and professionalism. This is a quality car rental company, and Fred made the experience even better.
