  I returned my rental car last night, and this morning I received an email claiming there was a dent on the front bumper and asking whether I had caused it. It was immediately clear that something was off — the photos they sent were not taken at the spot where I parked the car when I returned it. They appeared to be pre-taken photos, not images captured at the time of my drop-off. Fortunately, I had recorded videos of the entire car before my first drive and again after returning it, which clearly showed that the dent was not caused by me. Without those videos, I might have been held responsible for damage I didn’t create. The dent they pointed out was extremely subtle, and it felt like they were trying to assign previously-existing damage to someone who didn’t purchase their collision coverage. In my case, I rely on my own auto insurance and my credit card’s rental coverage, which I assume made me an easy target in their eyes. My issue was ultimately resolved with no financial loss, but I want to warn other renters: take detailed photos and videos of every part of the car before you drive it and again when you return it. If you don’t, you could end up being blamed for old damage and forced to use your personal or credit card insurance. To be fair, the staff members I interacted with were polite, and compared with other rental companies nearby, their service attitude was actually better. Still, this experience was unpleasant, and I hope others can avoid the same situation by documenting everything carefully.

  Quickest and smoothest car rental I've experienced. Great for same day rental and after hours drop off to avoid the pricey hotel valet fees for overnight parking.

  Had a great experience renting a car with Enterprise. Made reservation online and unfortunately I had to make a few modifications since my plans have changed. Despite that, no issue when picking up the car. Was easy to find an office, no line at all, nice and helpful staff at the desk, seemless process picking up the car. I was even offered 4 different cars to choose from and I was able to choose the one I was the most comfortable driving. Easy return process as well. There were other car rental options closer to my hotel but with terrible reviews so I'm so glad I decided to go with Enterprise. Definitely recommend.

  Vehicle had a fuel door that would not open making it impossible to refuel. I even accessed the emergency pull to release the door and that didn't work. Also had check engine light on during the rental. Could not reach a human being at Enterprise to report it or get help. I remember when Enterprise was known for customer service. Now you just get a recording. Times have changed apparently.
