  Check in went smooth and fast. Our flight arrived 7:00am so there were only three people in line so our check in went smooth and fast. Took less thank 5 min. We booked midium SUV, there were 10 SUV to chose and got almost brand new 4 Runner. There was a good size scraches on right front bumper, I was told to take a picture with time stamp. (If you use your phone to take pictuer it will have time stamp.) During retuen process, the agent asked me about scratch, so I show that picture and agent did not ask any father questions. Rethrn also went very smooth and super faster.

  We were impressed with Alamo auto rental at Honolulu Airport because the 'skip the queue' rental option which we took, really worked as promised! You have to give certain extra ID requirements for this, but in view of that being the mode at airports they were not burdensome. The return was equally smooth, so the whole rental was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. One improvement would be to issue a local map with suggestions for nearest gas stations to use on return, as we had the option to fill the tank ourselves. Maybe for most who use GPS on their phones this is not an issue! We will use Alamo again as they proved true to their word, with no funky, unexpected charges added on later. An economical and honest company, from our experience.

  Great pickup & drop off. I loved the skip the line feature! However, I left my house keys on the Alamo key chain. They have the worst system for lost & found I’ve ever had the misfortune to be involved with. They DO NOT answer the phone. I was on hold for over an hour multiple times, no answer. They sent an email to tell me my keys were found, told me to respond by making a pickup appointment, but then it would not take the comments the system insisted were necessary to complete the pickup appointment scenario!!! I had to call the Alamo desk at the airport to get a human to ask where the lost and found department is to try and pick up my keys before I leave Honolulu for home!!! So completely annoying.

  We booked a car through booking.com. However, after reading some online reviews, we were worried there would be additional rental fees. Nothing of the sort. Just a $1 deposit from our debit card. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The service during the rental was excellent. The car was good, and returning it was easy.

  Had a great experience. Easy to check in, no line. Fast registration, friendly staff, quick paperwork. I had a minor issue with the SUV I got, and they quickly let me pick another (pleny of options). SUVs were clean and new. No issues during my stay (except parking). Returning the SUV was quick and easy, less than 3 minutes with friendly staff. I would use them again.
