- LLLion Mana LLCFeb 19, 20263.0I made a reservation over the phone and scheduled service and when I brought the car in for service was told they would not replace the glass because their policy prevents them from servicing any windows with any rust even if bondo is used. I just want people to know if you have any rust at all under your windshield you should either have professional bodywork done first to your window frame or service your windshield at a nearby window company. I do appreciate the fact they gave me a referral to a place that worked out for me to reschedule for the following week. However I do feel it is important for Safelight to make this policy clear over the phone when scheduling appointments as I waited weeks to get my car in only to be told the day of the appointment that I can't be serviced.
