On Friday, I went in with a flat tyre (a slow puncture). I left the car there and they repaired the tyre. The next morning, I noticed that the tyre was soft again. I didn’t drive the car at all over the weekend.
On Monday, I put some air in it, and then drove the car on Tuesday and Wednesday. This morning, the tyre was almost completely flat again.
I took the car back to the garage, and they told me there was another nail in the tyre and that it wasn’t repairable.
What are the chances that I picked up a nail between their garage and my house?
Given that the tyre was repaired by them on Friday and was soft again the very next morning, I’m not convinced that the second puncture wasn’t already there when the tyre was repaired.
One thing I would say, before this experience I only had good experiences with them. And even today, I would have let it pass but if the 2 young mechanics wouldnt have been laughing in my face when I said I was not happy.
