- HTHoward Thompson2 days ago1.0Worst rental agency at Gatwick. By far. And i have rented from many at LGW (Europcar, Enterprise, Hertz). The staff don't know their auto inventory. They don't know how to match a car rental to the customer needs. I spent 90mins trying to find a rental that could accommodate the luggage when the initial booking was deemed too small by them. And yet their suggestions still did not match the needs. Three staff members could not figure it out. We tried 3 vehicles. 90mins loading and unloading cases. Nonsense. They dont listen to the customer. Too focussed on their own arrogance. They dont understand customer needs. They talk up car functions irrelevant to the customer needs. Clueless.

At pickup, we were given no chance to inspect and document the car with an employee, we were only told to take a video, which we did before driving. When we returned the vehicle, they claimed damage that had already been documented before use. We strongly dispute these charges and expect them to be removed.

Customer service confirmed over the phone that the office is still open, but they can't find their staff. I paid a fortune to have to do my own checking on my phone. I tried to open a ticket with customer service over the phone, but that wasn't allowed either.
