  Please give Cuba a raise! My poor sister has had an absolutely horrendous experience with your Worthing branch this week, they were even rude to your head office when they tried to step in. I was phoning around in desperation to try and get her a car for the weekend and Cuba did in 30 minutes what Worthing was not able to do all week. He showed, empathy, compassion and understanding. He is a true credit to your company and has restored our faith in your company. Even when we picked up the car he was on his own, with 3 other people waiting yet made us feel like he had all the time in the world for us. I never leave reviews but feel so strongly about how brilliant he is

  I was in an accident a week ago and on Tuesday tried to get a car at the Worthing branch and was rudely and loudly told in front of other staff and customers I couldn’t as had been restricted. No offer of any assistance or how to resolve this. Spoke to a lovely man called Thomas at head office who said there was an issue however we could easily resolve it. (I’d missed seeing a previous invoice from them and it had been a genuine oversight on my part) Thomas helped me to get the issue resolved at head office but in the meanwhile Worthing told me to call this am and I’d be able to pick up a car. I’ve been currently getting to work on public transport which turned a 30 min journey into almost 4hrs! I would also have no way of getting to work tomorrow due to Brighton Pride. When I called Worthing I was basically made out to be a liar and that I hadn’t been told that (despite having an email as proof) and “oh don’t worry we all know about you” so had clearly all been having a good gossip at my expense based on her condescending tone. I then called Thomas again and he even called through to them and received a similar response and attitude. In the meantime I had a confirmation from Enterprise head office my account was in good standing and could get a rental at any branch. Worthing still refused to fit me in and then told me after all of this that even if they wanted to they had no cars! So why the need to make me feel belittled I have no idea. In the meantime my twin sister called Portslade, as I work in healthcare and had a full clinic, who were very helpful but also had no cars due to Pride as Brighton is closed. He suggested she try Haywards Heath. The angel known as Cuba answered the phone and couldn’t have been more helpful and empathetic. He listened with compassion to the story and said he couldn’t see what he needed to on his computer but to give him 10minutes and he’d see what he could do. 30 mins later he called and said it had all been resolved and he had even transferred the booking so I didn’t have to call the insurers to move it. Both of these things the Worthing branch and told me would be impossible to do before next week. He even arranged for a car to come up from Newhaven as they only had a very small electric and I needed a big hatchback or small suv. We were able to go and complete all the paperwork and drive off before they closed at 6. All he would accept as a token of our appreciation was some cans of Sprite. Cuba is the epitome of customer service. He was empathetic, compassionate, funny, kind and is beyond a credit to your company. He’s even arranged for the drop off to take place at another branch when the time comes. Although Haywards Heath is by no means my closest branch I shall be requesting there if I ever have the need to use this service again (hopefully not) and will ask for Cuba personally.

  Extremely disappointed with my experience. Enterprise has taken £570 from my bank account without any explanation whatsoever. I have received no email, no letter, no invoice and no phone call telling me what this charge is for. The hire vehicle was provided through my insurance company after someone else hit my car. When Enterprise collected the vehicle on 6 July, the representative carried out a full inspection and told me the car was in excellent condition with no issues. Despite this, £570 has been taken from my debit card without any prior notification or justification. I expect a full explanation and an itemised breakdown of this charge as a matter of urgency. Taking money from a customer’s bank account without explaining why is completely unacceptable and has left me with very little confidence in Enterprise’s customer service.
