Tyre damage charge of £250.
Car collected wet so could not see damage.
Damage so small it had to be pointed out 3 times before I saw it.
Charged before investigating my dispute.
I had the car for 16 hours and was never in a position to damage near side tyre eg against kerb.
Suspicious that worker spent long time looking at that tyre and not others......🤔
Can you spot the damage- see pic.....?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE RENTING FROM ENTERPRISE.
My biggest mistake was not checking the reviews before booking. I rented a car for 7 days. When I collected it, there were already many scratches and marks on the car. I pointed them out to the staff, but they told me it was fine because the scratches were not deep and were only on the paint.
Do not just take photos — take videos too. Before you drive away, make sure the staff member who gives you the car is in the video and points out every single existing scratch and damage. This is extremely important.
Otherwise, when you return the car, you could be charged for a scratch that you never caused. They may show you an old photo of the car when it was brand new and say, “This scratch wasn’t there before. You caused it.” Even though you know you never did it.
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE TYRES TOO. When I collected the car, the tyres were already very old and worn. I asked about them and was told they were fine and safe to drive.
After I returned the car and left, they took a photo of a tyre and charged me £95 for damage. Nobody told me about any tyre damage when I returned the car. I was only charged after I had already left.
Based on my experience, I strongly believe I did not cause this damage, and I am very concerned that the damage may have happened after I returned the car. I have posted the photo of the tyre with this review so people can see it for themselves.
My advice is simple: record everything. Take photos and a full video of the car, every scratch, every wheel and every tyre, and make sure the staff member points out all existing damage on camera before you leave.
After this experience, I would never rent from Enterprise again. Please check the reviews and be extremely careful before

Fatal!! No la contracteu.
He apel·lat i també m han denegat.
Potser no recupero les 250 lliures però us les podeu estalviar vosaltres.

We had the same issue and another customer with tires. When we picked up the car and husband started to take photographs we were told to not worry about scratches and they focused on trying g to seek tire coverage and windshield coverage. Our credit card already covered for everything. The person who went over everything was very hurried and we had to wait over an hour for the car to be ready. It wasn’t very clean inside, either. Upon return of the car the person got down on her knees and spent a lot of time on each tire. She found a small area, smaller than a fingernail and said it was tire damage. It want a deep gouge or anything that would be beyond normal use. Unfortunately this area wasn’t visible I. The photos we took and not sure it would even show up. We had not been on rough roads or parked in anyway to cause damage. I would steer clear of this place as we suspect the damage was there before. It would have been normal use and should not have been charged to the customer. Will never use this company again wherever we travel. Lodging complaint with overall Enterprise as we want additional information on previous rentals for this car and that they actually had to change the tire. Never again will we give Enterprise any business! Gatwick office was a mess with a lobby full of customers and they struggled. Other were busy but mischief mor professional and had the car ready for customers.

We rented a car via Expedia. Normally, after confirmation, the rental company sends an email about the conditions. Apart from Enterprise. Some information was clear in the rules section in Expedia app. It was written, the rental company can require a physical bank card. Not debit or credit. Bank card. Of course, Enterprise refused fulfillment of the pre-paid rent, because they needed a physical credit card. Even from North Korea, but the British debit card or credit card in online wallet are unacceptable. They were very sorry. My money was theirs, the car was not mine. Moreover, they said I could transfer my contract to another rental company via Expedia. Of course, Expedia said this option didn't exist at all. Eventually, Expedia fought my money back from Enterprise, Hertz accepted my British debit card, and the hire desk guys laughed at Enterprise.
