  You know the fear when you go abroad and worry about the airport scams of less reputable car hire outfits.. Well that fear is now a reality in your very own home town of Warrington. We were scammed of £500 for a small chip on the windscreen which was there when the car was dropped off to our home address. I hear you gasp and mutter.. Well surely you took photos. Well we didn't have the chance, the staff member (low and behold no longer works for the company) actively discouraged it and when I pointed out various scuffs and how dirty the car was just replied don't worry about those we have all that logged. The car was returned then out of blue we were hit with this fee. It's OK I thought I was assured this was noted and wouldn't be a problem. I'll just pop in and speak to the manager Jada we will sort this silly mess out I'm sure. Well that was a waste of time this young lady is as unscrupulous as the company she works for probably part of the money making scam. but don't worry readers they have sold the vehicle so couldn't show me the damage I mentioned (which wasn't logged the car was apparently damage free prior to us having it.) I wanted to prove the manager that there was damage and therefor their process flawed. Sounds exactly like the sort of goings on at Spanish airports surely not happening here in Warrington of all places. Was funny being there listening to all the other mix ups and people settling for cars of a lower spec than they had reserved one couple all the way from Canada. If your reading this I apologise on behalf of the UK enterprise do not represent us. So folks for fear of legal action I have paid the £500 for a chip repair (wow inflation huh I'm sure it normally costs £50?) I would actively encourage, no emplore you the reader to go elsewhere or run the risk of a Spanish airport scam happening to you. This is not slander this is an honoust review from a hardworking local person £500 out of pocket following what appeared to be a straightforward car hire. We have an active complaint which I'm now escalating the the ombudsman hopefully to stop these acts of blatant dishonesty and fraud. UPDATE: enterprise do not reply to this feedback with a link asking me to reach out. This is you trying to show people you care when In reality you do not and are trying to give the impression you listen and help in these scenarios you don't.   Honestly, don’t waste your time with them at all. They can call you just two hours before your collection and tell you that the car you booked is no longer available. They can simply give your reserved car to someone else without any proper explanation. The customer service from this brand is absolutely terrible.
