  Disappointing experience. The vehicle was handed over around 30 minutes later than my booked collection time, which almost made me late for an event I had specifically hired the car for. When I finally received the vehicle, it had been cleaned and was still wet, making it difficult to inspect the condition of the car and tyres. On return, I was told there was damage to a tyre sidewall and was charged £100 for it. The staff member was helpful, but it was frustrating as the vehicle had been returned late by a previous customer that morning, and it seems entirely possible the damage was already present before I collected it. When given the car the employee was going around the vehicle with a tablet, so I assumed the condition would be documented by them, but I later asked if there was any photos of the car when given to me and there wasn’t. This is partly my fault for not taking photos either, but like I said they had given me the car late and I had an event to attend. I would be careful when hiring from here and make sure you take photos and videos before leaving with the vehicle. If any damage is later identified, you may be unable to prove that it was already there before your rental.

  ​I had a genuinely mixed experience. The actual car rental process went incredibly smoothly, and the staff at the branch were great. However, I am truly disappointed with their billing and customer support. I prepaid online and included excess insurance, but decided to remove that coverage during check-in. My final invoice correctly reflects the lower price, but Enterprise never refunded me the difference. When I contacted support, they promised an escalation and a callback within 48 hours—which shouldn't even be necessary for a standard refund—but I never heard back. It is a shame that a good rental experience was ruined by poor administrative practices. I'm now having to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back.

  After my own car suffered some minor damage I was put in contact with Enterprise car hire and they arranged a hire car for me and sorted out a repair shop to repair my vehicle. I dropped my car off and a hire car was delivered to me at the repair shop and I had it until I was notified that my own car had been repaired. I dropped off the hire car at the repair shop when I picked my car up. Couldn’t have been easier. Everything arranged by Enterprise, wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
