  Shocking experience. Unsure how they can operate renting vans they can't supply. Seems common theme in the reviews. We ordered a Lwb van and was informed in morning while travelling to pick it up on train that it was unavailable and all we could have was electric ford transit custom. This would be far to small and wouldn't work for our job. We had to pay 2 guys a day work but could only do half days work as only had one van to load our own one not rental we booked. Staff seemed nice enough but failing to supply what was rented really messed our work up. Ollie the manager is supposed to be speaking to his area manager for some resolution. They gave us extra driver but this was only due to me being unavailable to collect day after due to rental error by enterprise. Think the booking system needs looking at a booking vans that don't exist seems crazy. Will update review if resolution is offered.

  I’ve used this Enterprise branch for a while now and have been a very good customer, regularly hiring cars for leisure, often for a full month at a time. On this occasion, I was in a small Peugeot 208 at a rate of £170 per week, which was perfectly reasonable. Two weeks into the hire, I received a call saying the car was due to be sold and that I needed to return it. I found this quite strange, but I still went out of my way to bring it back promptly without any issue. They then put me into a like for like replacement in the same category, this time a Renault Clio. I continued to extend the hire through the app as normal and paid each extension at the time. However, when I came to return the vehicle, I was told there was an additional £267 outstanding, which they attempted to charge to my card without any prior explanation. When I questioned this, I was given vague answers about it being the remaining balance. After looking into it properly, I discovered that they had increased the weekly rate to £348 when they swapped the vehicles without informing me, without issuing a new agreement, and without me signing anything or making a new booking. This was for essentially the same category of car. What’s most disappointing is not even the money, but the principle. There was no transparency, no communication, and no accountability. The attitude from staff was completely unapologetic, and it was even implied that this was somehow my own fault and that I should have known it was a “live rate”. And they decided to DOUBLE the cost of the hire when they were simply swapping me into a different car... How silly of me. 🙄 This feels incredibly misleading and unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I would strongly advise others to double check everything if you choose to hire from here.
