  I rented a car from Enterprise Newport, Chepstow Road, last week. I was served by Sami. He took me around the car very carefully and was very thorough. He pointed out an existing dent. He explained all the car controls as it was a car that I was unfamiliar with driving. While I had the car, the back badge wouldn't close, so there was a problem with the back parking sensors. I immediately took a photograph and informed Enterprise that the problem had developed. As things turned out, I couldn't return the car back to Chepstow Road myself, so I arranged with Shania on the phone for a pick-up from the Premier Inn at Pontypool. I couldn't be present, but Shania arranged the pickup and told me how to return the keys. She was extremely professional, kind and helpful. Once the car had been picked up, she informed me quickly that the return of the vehicle had all gone through smoothly and she would organise return of the deposit. There was no argument about the problem arising with the rear parking sensors. My experience of the staff at Enterprise Newport was very good.

  Title: Unfair treatment, false accusations and potential racial discrimination We are absolutely appalled by the way we were treated by Enterprise Car Rental whilst our own vehicle was being repaired in the garage. We rented a car hoping for a smooth service, but instead we were left feeling targeted, cheated, and discriminated against. When we collected the vehicle, we were given a car that already had old dents and damage on the side. We parked the car immediately on our private driveway, which is fully covered and protected — meaning no other vehicle or person could have come into contact with it whilst it was there. We only used the car briefly the next morning and returned it by 10:00 AM. Upon return, we were suddenly accused of causing the damage we had already seen from the start. They tried to blame us and charged us £500 for a small dent that was clearly pre‑existing. The reasons and evidence they gave made absolutely no sense. We know for a fact we did not cause any damage: if we had been involved in an accident, we would have reported it immediately, and the other party’s insurance would have been in contact — none of this happened. We have video evidence showing the car parked safely at our home overnight, clearly showing the dent was there before we even drove it properly. Yet, our explanations, evidence, and honesty were completely dismissed. The way we were spoken to and treated felt very personal and unfair. We strongly feel this behaviour was influenced by our race; as Black customers, we felt we were not treated with the same respect or trust as other customers would have been. It felt like we were automatically assumed to be in the wrong, with no willingness to listen to our side or look at the facts. This is not how a reputable organisation should operate. We will be sharing our experience and our video evidence widely to warn others — especially people from minority backgrounds — about the unfair practices and potential racial bias we encountered. We will never use or recommend Enterprise Car Rental again, and we are taking this matter further. Pros: None Cons: Unprofessional staff, dishonest practices, unfair charges, potential racial discrimination, ignored evidence.

  Absolutely terrible service. Booked a car and phoned one day earlier to confirm availability, only to reach there the next day and being told there's no car. Apparently Enterprise is used to overbook. Furthermore, even though the website or the customer service said there's availability, there's possibility that there's no car.

  Hired a limousine for my sons wedding what a disaster the driver was so miserable had no music or lights on or no champagne he said you had to pre order itwhich when I've been in lot's of limousine it provided after half an hour that was enough we asked to get out don't use these for a limousine it's a waste of money ruined our day.
