Did not provide the full service I required as I was told it was not worth completing the free wheel alignment check until my other tyre was replaced despite a mechanic telling me to get the check completed ASAP. I had to go to another garage to get the problem fixed. The whole experience felt rushed and abrupt.

Mot booked 3 weeks in advance. They cancelled by phone call 2 days before appointment. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with this company. I gave them the a 2nd chance as the first was a couple of years ago. Unfortunately nothing has changed will not be using this company again for tyres or Mot.

Easy to book in online for MOT and service. Got a good update once the MOT was done as I needed my tyres doing. Good price for 2 new tyres and alignment. Friendly team doing handover :)

This place is an absolute Joke, I had my car booked in for a MOT earlier in March paid for online, they phoned me to rebook because a the tester was off ill which is fine. I turn up to the appointment today to be told that they cant MOT 4x4s ive been going here for years with 4x4s, but if they new they couldnt do them why not mention it at the time of booking instead of the day the test is being done, we are in a rural area as well. No refund yet either. I will not be coming here again.

You will see from their reply that they have tried to insinuate that the area manager had already replied. This is yet another blatant lie, as the email came through shortly after posting this review and i'm happy to prove time sent.
They have offered to look at the car again. Why would you need to look again if you are confident that the work was carried out adequately initially. I will be getting it looked at on the 26th at an independent garage.
If you value the safety of yourself and your family, then please avoid using Protyre.
I have used Protyre on several previous occasions and never had a serious issue.
At the end of January, my car passed it's MOT at Protyre Westbury with no advisories and I was told 'all good'
5 weeks later at the beginning of March, I booked in for a service. On collecting the car I again asked if there were any issues, and I was again told 'no, it's all good'
On getting home and looking at the paperwork, I was shocked to see 'Banana Arms very weak' with a note to replace immediately. 'Play in steering rack' 'rear dif seals leaking' and 'exhaust rubbers persihed and needing replacement'
The two issues are: I was allowed to drive a car away without warning that it needed work, and especially with the suspension arms being a safety concern. Why not tell me? It was clear as always that the staff are under immense pressure and workload, and maybe they didn't need this work on top? But I should still have been informed.
The other question is, how well was the MOT carried out? I understand parts are susceptible to wear and tear, but for all of those issues to present themselves in just 5 weeks??? Or was it a case of the person carrying out the service is told to look for work??
Either way, the level of service, concern for customer safety, and clear employee care at Protyre is severely lacking.
There is very little point in emailing customer service, as all you will receive is a pre determined response of 'we will get the area manager to investigate' which clearly never happens.
Due to this lack of care and response, I have raised this issue with VOSA and will update once they have investigated.
