The best tyre shop for miles around. Steve is superb, and his lads just as fantastic. Steve and Rob helped me out of a sticky situation today, can’t thank them enough. If you want decent, friendly service then this is the place for you. And for anyone who thinks these lads can work miracles or feel their tyres should have been next to free, try keeping up with the times! You get what you pay for. Thank you lads!

Always so helpful and efficient. Never over charge. If anything they charge less than they could. Go out of their way to make things as easy as possible for collection and drop off. Would highly recommend to anyone needing their car or van looked at.

I wouldn't recommend Protyre Westbury for a diagnostics.
I drove the car into the garage as told to by the receptionist and some members of staff are dancing to the music in the backroom like it's a school disco. I have no problem with this, I found it rather amusing and was impressed by their moves but it seems this initial first impression set the tone for my experience with this garage.
At the initial appointment, the technician or receptionist did not print off the diagnostic report. Perhaps I should have asked for this, but I have had diagnostic reports from other garages in the past and they have printed off the report without me asking them to.
I was told by the technician it was a speed sensor issue and they did try to source the part but could not do so and referred me to the dealership. Since they couldn't help, I felt like I was essentially rushed out of the door. The receptionist said he would call the dealership and liaise with them. After liaising with the dealership myself I asked if Protyre contacted them about this and the dealership said they did not.
Since doing my own research online, there are many different types of speed sensors from ABS to speedo-meter so I can understand why the dealership wanted further clarification on the exact part. The dealership said they needed the diagnostic report to ensure that the right part could be ordered.
Then I went back to Protyre to have the diagnostic report printed off. I asked the receptionist to identify the exact part which needed replacing. He could have asked a technician/mechanic if he was unsure but he decided to ask his other receptionist colleague for mechanical advice, something which isn't within a receptionist's remit. The other receptionist then asked if I installed another radio into the car which was not the problem. Overall, they didn't ask a technician which they should have done since they could not interpret the diagnostic report.
Again I felt like I was a nuisance for asking for help. With total confidence the receptionist said that the report would explain which part needed replacing, most likely telling me what I wanted to hear and hoping I would go away.
I sent over the report to the dealership who replied telling me that the diagnostic report did not provide sufficient information. The diagnostic report was basically only one and a bit sides of A4. I have had other reports from other garages which have been about 3/4 pages long. I called Protyre about this and asked for assistance, they told me a mixture of things. Firstly more investigation would be needed to identify which exact part needed replacing. Then they said the opposite of this stating that the report should identify which part needed replacing and that the dealership were being difficult.
Throughout this process, it has been difficult to call Protyre Westbury. I am often on hold and have had to call many times to get through. I paid £50 for a diagnostics and overall it seems like it was a total waste of money since both Protyre Westbury can't tell me what/which exact sensor needs replacing (provide name or part number) and the dealership are unable to find the diagnostics report useful.
I am now left with no choice but to paid for another diagnostic report from the main dealership. It's been a frustrating process from start to finish. I think I should receive a full refund for the diagnostic report.
Overall, get your diagnostics done elsewhere. I have wasted time, fuel money driving to and from the garage about 6 times as I couldn't get through on the phone to rebook the diagnostic report to be printed off. The customer service has been poor, everything feels rushed and time pressured. The advice I have received has been well below par.
Avoid.
