I was away from home visiting my daughter & her family in Tidworth for a few days and on arrival, discovered I had a bad puncture. Without a spare tyre or repair kit, calls to my roadside assistance service proved fruitless as did those to various mobile repair/replacement outfits, many of which were either fully booked or turned out to be anything but local and gave me outrageous quotes as well as demanding a hefty deposit to book a call-out. Thankfully I decided to call Cavanfields, who were really sympathetic to my situation and couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful - without any hesitation Richard arranged to order exactly the tyre I needed and then came with a colleague to collect my car for same day repair. When the work was done I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they had waived the call-out charge and invoiced me just for the tyre. They turned a difficult and stressful situation around and completely made my day - I’m one very happy customer, thank you so much!

We chose this place for an MOT based on strong reviews and personal recommendations, but unfortunately the communication fell short. The cost of the required work increased significantly twice: we were initially quoted around £270, the following day it rose to £600, and then again to £650. We were told there wasn’t actually that much work to be done, yet the final bill was surprisingly high and the job took three days to complete. Overall, it ended up costing a small fortune for what seemed like a relatively minor amount of work.
