Exceptional service from the Salisbury branch especially Alfred who upgraded our car to accommodate our tall son. Car was in excellent condition and easy to drive.

Avoid this branch. The initial booking process was straightforward, but the counter experience and post-rental charges are predatory. At pickup, I was pushed to buy extra insurance that doubled the original quoted rental cost. The car was handed over with only a half tank of fuel. The staff member explicitly told me at handover that as long as the fuel level was returned "close to" where I took it, it wouldn't be an issue. I returned the car with the dashboard gauge sitting right at the half-tank mark. Despite this, they claimed a backend system reading showed it was "4 litres under" and slapped me with an outrageous £20+ refuelling penalty (over £5 per litre). When I asked if they would refund me if I had returned it with 4 litres extra, they flatly said no. To make matters worse, I was never shown a check-in sheet or asked to sign off on any return inspection or fuel discrepancy when surrendering the keys. They rely on hidden telematics to flag tiny volume differences that a standard dashboard gauge can't show, while staff give verbal reassurances that turn out to be false. Pure hidden-fee trap—I will never use Enterprise again.

I use Enterprise whenever I can. I find their staff efficient, friendly and proactive. Their pricing model is very good and cost conscious.
