  Exceptional Customer Service at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Rugby – Special Thanks to Mr Declan Approximately three weeks ago, my car was involved in a hit-and-run incident. The other driver left the scene, but fortunately, I managed to locate the vehicle responsible two days later. Having never experienced anything like this before, I was understandably nervous, stressed, and uncertain about what to expect. The other party's insurance company subsequently arranged everything, including repairs to my vehicle and a replacement rental car through Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Rugby. I would particularly like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service I received from the Rugby branch, especially from a young gentleman named Mr Declan. From the very beginning, Declan demonstrated outstanding professionalism, patience, kindness, and genuine compassion. He recognised that I was feeling nervous and went out of his way to reassure me and make the whole experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible. What impressed me most was his willingness to listen and understand my circumstances without making assumptions or passing judgement. He treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine consideration. I was particularly grateful for the convenient collection and drop-off arrangements at my workplace. This flexibility made a considerable difference to me during an already stressful situation. Although I have hired vehicles before, my previous experiences with customer service have not always been entirely satisfactory. However, my experience with Enterprise in Rugby was completely different and exceeded my expectations. I would also like to acknowledge the team's understanding regarding my university commitments. I was originally scheduled to receive the rental vehicle on Monday, but unfortunately, I was unable to proceed because I was attending university. This was entirely due to my personal circumstances and was in no way the fault of Enterprise. Similarly, when I was due to return the vehicle, my university commitments prevented me from doing so on the agreed day. Once again, the Enterprise team demonstrated exceptional understanding, kindness, and flexibility by allowing me to return the vehicle the following day. Their willingness to accommodate my circumstances without making me feel uncomfortable or judged was something I genuinely appreciated. For me, excellent customer service is not simply about providing a vehicle. It is about recognising that customers are individuals who may be facing difficult or unfamiliar circumstances and treating them with patience, empathy, respect, and understanding. Declan demonstrated all these qualities exceptionally well. Following an upsetting hit-and-run incident, his professionalism and reassuring manner helped transform a stressful experience into a positive and manageable one. I sincerely believe that Declan deserves recognition for his outstanding customer service. He is a credit to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car team in Rugby. I would also like to thank the entire Rugby branch for their professionalism, flexibility, and kindness throughout the process. Thank you, Declan, and thank you, Enterprise Rugby, for making me feel safe, respected, valued, and genuinely cared for during a difficult time. I am extremely grateful for the support I received and would happily recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Rugby to others.

  I’m sharing this because after months of trying to resolve this privately, I have now had to issue County Court proceedings against Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK Limited. On 19 February 2026, I returned a rental vehicle to the Enterprise branch in Rugby and accidentally left my laptop inside. I contacted the branch as soon as I realised (3 hours later) and expected the matter to be dealt with reasonably quickly. It wasn’t. Over the following weeks and months, I repeatedly contacted Enterprise trying to establish what had happened to the laptop and when it would be returned. The police also became involved in the matter. The police could finally see the CCTV camera and they confirmed one of the workers from the branch (apparently someone from another company in charge of cleaning the cars) took the laptop out of the rented car. The laptop was eventually recovered on 8 May 2026, more than two months later. After the police said they will arrest the person in their house, the laptop magically appeared in a box hidden on the bottom... When it was returned to me, the computer had been reset to factory settings and all the decorative stickers were removed, which obviously raised even more questions about what had happened to it while it was missing. I did not want to take the matter to court. Enterprise had multiple opportunities to deal with this properly before it reached that stage. I still hope Enterprise will now take the matter seriously and properly investigate what happened at the Rugby branch. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

  Libby who checked me in was superb. Very polite and efficient when I arrived to collect the car, explaining everything in detail. Enterprise, Rugby is like night and day compared to my experience at the Coventry branch. Great price, nearly new car and all-in-all a really positive experience. Highly recommended and thanks to everyone there because you were all brilliant!
