  Ensure the in car system is in English when hired in GB. It appeared to be in Dutch!! Also my disability made boot difficult to close and steering wheel too low. Mistake made by my corporate travel branch was made difficult to resolve by Enterprise operative making it more difficult than it needed it to be. Made me nearly 2 hours late for workshop

  Worst company I’ve ever dealt with This is a long review so here is a summary -Took £500 from my account 3 months after rental without explanation -Failed to communicate with me why they had taken this money and encouraged me to do a chargeback with my bank even though I would eventually find out they took this because of damage which I didn’t do -Put the wrong e-mail address on my file so they couldn’t communicate this with me and sent my personal details to someone else -Threatened me with debt collection agency despite having the £500 returned to them after the chargeback was cancelled Rental was in July 2025 and the rental itself was fine, but I don’t want to give that any credit because the treatment I have had since has been abysmal Start of October I have £500 taken out of bank account from enterprise without any explanation. E-mail back and forth for a month and a half before they finally told me the £500 is not related to my rental and to start a chargeback with my bank, which I did and which left me without a bank card for a week. Bank returned the £500 back to me. Start of January I get an e-mail from my bank saying that the money will be taken back out of my account as they don’t believe it is fraud. Couple of weeks later I get a phone call off enterprise asking me to pay the £500 that my bank had already returned to them. As I had been communicating over e-mail up until this point (as I wanted audit trail) and was getting nowhere so I took the opportunity to ask what the money concerns, apparently it’s because of damage to the vehicle I rented. Amazing that it took them 6 months after a rental to tell me that they’re charging me for damage on a vehicle I didn’t damage. But anyway, bloke says he’ll e-mail me some documents relating to the damage for me to had a look at. E-mail wasn’t received and I wasn’t asked to confirm my e-mail. Following day I phoned to ask them to e-mail this again, as I’m going through security details they ask what my e-mail is, this is when I find out they’ve got someone else’s e-mail on my file, turns out they’ve sent numerous documents to this e-mail with my personal details on informing me about the damage and that the money will be taken from my account. Anyway finally got my e-mail put on my file and got the documents e-mailed to me. Having a look and they’re sending me pictures of the damage from September 2025, 2 months after I rented the vehicle, how can they think this damage is anything to with me when the photo is 2 months after my rental? A couple of weeks of e-mails going nowhere disputing the damage I get an e-mail chasing me for the £500 despite the fact this has left my account over 2 weeks prior. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I got another e-mail saying that the case is being taken to a debt collection agency despite enterprise already having the money. A week or so later they finally admitted they had the money, also admitted that they had put the incorrect e-mail address on my file and said that they would refer this to the Branch, privacy team and Cardiff out of hours to investigate how the wrong e-mail ended up on my account. A month later and he we are, having heard nothing since. Probably been contacting the wrong e-mail. So to summarise, they’ve taken £500 from me for damage which I haven’t done, sent my personal details to someone else, communicated terribly with me, encouraged me to report the transaction as fraud when they had taken it, and not offered me any compensation for any of this. If I could offer anyone a peice of life advice, it would be not to rent a car from enterprise

  I’m very disappointed with Enterprise. I booked a car through their website, and after returning it, they charged me £169 for a tire issue that was clearly pre‑existing. I feel cheated — their staff quickly blamed me without investigating properly. This experience really damages trust. I expected professionalism, not unexpected fees and excuses.

  Friendly staff, swift and efficient pick up and return. Great to be able to check in prior to arriving at the office. Car clean and ready .

  Extremely disappointed with Enterprise. I was charged £169 for supposed “tire damage” that clearly existed before I rented the car. When I asked for proof or any previous inspection photos of the tires, they couldn’t provide a single image. It’s shocking that such a big company doesn’t keep proper evidence to justify a charge like this. I feel completely cheated because the damage was there before my booking, yet they still blamed me and refused to review their mistake. This kind of treatment shows a serious lack of honesty and customer care. I’ll never use Enterprise again, and I strongly warn others to take detailed photos before driving off — otherwise you might end up paying for someone else’s damage.
