Having been in this situation once before and being forced to use the only available slot at another (yellow and blue) tyre place and have them listing off non existent defects, which was proved when I took it to the regular garage after the test result, it was an absolute please to take the car into Protyre. I needed 1 new tyre which I already knew about, no spurious claims or touting for extra work. I booked a timeslot and it was done exactly within that timeslot and I was on my way. I would definitely use Protyre again in the future for more than just tyres.
- HWHeather WilliamsApr 15, 20261.0Sadly this warrants a negative review. I came in yesterday to order 2 tyres for my car and was told to return today at 3pm. I arrived 20/25 minutes early but checked beforehand whether it was ok, or if I should return at 3pm. I was told this was ok. My son and I went into the reception area and waited. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for 2 front tyres to be changed and tracking done. 1 hour and 45 minutes!! Thankfully my 2 year old is a very well behaved boy and didn’t move the entire time! Now, even if I had arrived at my given time; that’s still 1 hour 20 minutes to replace 2 tyres and carry out tracking. This isn’t an acceptable timeframe and a tyre change certainly doesn’t take hours to do. I wasn’t informed at all during the time of what was going on; I had to ask how much longer my car was going to be as it was getting ridiculous! The staff were nice enough but the time it took to do minimal work and the lack of customer service during the time was dire. No apology or reasons given as to why it took so long and I didn’t want to hang around and ask! I won’t be in a hurry to return!

To help keep us all safe we do ask that while visiting our garage you remember to wear a face covering (unless exempt in line with Government guidelines) when entering our reception areas and when speaking with members of our in other areas of the garage.

If you are unable to come to us, then we can come to you. We offer vehicle collection and delivery service as well as mobile fitting services. Please give your local garage a call to talk about how we can help.

Where our team members will need entry to your vehicle please can you ensure it is clean inside with no items laying where our team may need to be, such as foot wells. This will minimise contact with surfaces, helping keep everyone safe.
