When I collected the car thay told me that any type of car damage or car loss if I paid for excessive protection, I have to pay £250. But later on they told me that I have to pay £250 per damaged parts. They charged me £1500. I hired car for 5 days and this incident happened on 3rd day . Enterprise told me to exchange the car and when I visited my nearest branch thay didn't give me another car and I need to pay for public transport and also train ticket to return my home. This is really very frustrating and feels like scam. I really very disappointed.

Make sure you video every angle before you drive away in any hire vehicle and get photos of any tiny marks. They will try and claim any preexisting damage was caused by you and if you don't have proof, then you will owe the maximum excess. They did exactly this to me claiming wheel and tyre damage and bodywork scratches larger than their etool. They sent several threatening letters demanding over £1000 in damages. As soon as I disputed the claim with video evidence, they closed the claim with no charge. This practice needs to be called out as unacceptable.
