  I’ve used Enterprise Hyde a couple of times, both personally and through work, and have had a great experience each time. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and personable, and I’ve even received complimentary upgrades on both occasions, which was a lovely bonus. The cars have been modern, well-maintained, and up to date. Excellent customer service all round, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

  Where to begin, I rented a van on Saturday 9th May 2026, A Maxus vehicle registration WP73 GDE. FROM HYDE The van they gave me was utterly dangerous and not safe to be on the road. From picking the van up and driving 4 miles to Hadfield the back brake locked on and the driver behind me nearly smashed into me. To which caused me a horrendous amount of distress, not only from the drivers abuse who was behind me, but also has now made me anxious driving on my own. I already suffer PTSD and this has really exacabated my anxiety. I managed to just about get the van with the brake stuck on to my home address at the time I rang the emergency breakdown number and RAC came out to look at it. He removed the drivers side back wheel and there was no BRAKE PAD on the wheel at all, so it was metal rubbing on metal. I have video footage of him saying how dangerous this vehicle is and should NOT be on the road. So I couldn't contact Enterprise Hyde as they shut at 1PM on Saturday and closed on Sundays so I had to wait until Monday to contact them and tell them the trauma I had been through. So we no van for moving house, it set us very far back on our move using only 2 cars. Having to do the move in 2 cars from 12pm until 3/4am everyday causing more distress! for RAC to tow the van back to Hyde and they never came. Tuesday 12th May 2026 "Ester Selimi" and "Abdulla Sadhir" came to collect the keys. I got video footage of Ester (with permission) to go around the van to confirm there was no damage from when I picked it up. I showed her The footage of the RAC man explaining its not safe to drive. But "Abdulla Sadhir" drove it back to Hyde branch anyway Also I want to mention that a member of staff called Samuel from Ashton Branch (126 Oldham Rd, Ashton-Under-Lyne OL7 9AN) who was working at Hyde Branch on Monday, was the rudest person I have ever come across, I asked if someone could make an exception and stay at the office in Hyde and wait for RAC and he point blank said - "NO ONE WILL STAY AFTER 6PM, WE ALL HAVE LIVES TO LIVE, TOLD ME I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMOROW MORNING" And proceeded to put the phone down on me, after I explained how bad my anxiety is waiting 6 hours for RAC. Hence to say I was upset and disgusted with his attitude and should not be working in a customer service role with an attitude like that.
