  Absolutely excellent service from Enterprise, especially the Manchester Airport and Stirling branches. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, with a very professional, friendly, and helpful team. The staff were incredibly efficient, patient, and welcoming, and their attention to detail was truly appreciated.   I hired a car from Enterprise in Stirling on Friday and returned it today. The car itself was absolutely fine, but the experience when returning it was extremely disappointing. At collection I carried out the vehicle inspection, photographed and recorded the existing paintwork marks, and checked the tyres visually. There were no obvious tyre issues. Shortly after driving away, the tyre-pressure warning came on. I checked the pressures, found one was slightly low, topped it up and continued with the rental. I had not hit a pothole, kerb or anything else, had no accident and had not driven over anything that I knew could have damaged the tyre. There were no further tyre-pressure warnings for the remainder of the 5 day rental. On return, Enterprise identified a tiny nick in the tyre sidewall, apparently less than half a centimetre. It was not something I could see during the collection inspection, and the member of staff had to manipulate the tyre by prising the tiny scratch (it has been called a scratch on the "accident report") to show me the damage. Despite this, £100 was deducted from my deposit as my excess. I appreciate that tyre damage needs to be dealt with appropriately, but I am very unhappy with the assumption that this damage occurred during my rental when there was no incident that caused it and when I had actually experienced a tyre-pressure warning shortly after collecting the vehicle. Enterprise's own guidance says customers should check the vehicle, including the tyres, at collection. That is reasonable. What I find unreasonable is being held responsible for a tiny defect that was not visibly apparent during that inspection to their staff or me. The staff's attitude when I raised my concerns was also disappointing. I would have expected a much more constructive discussion about what had happened rather than simply being told that the charge was being applied. My advice to anyone hiring a car is simple: photograph every tyre, including the sidewalls, and if you get a tyre-pressure warning at any point, report it to the rental company immediately and keep a record. I have used Enterprise before, but based on this experience, I would think twice about using the Stirling branch again.

  Do not hire a car here. If you need a specific size of car this office is unreliable.That’s now twice we’ve turned up and the class of car we’ve booked in advance and paid for ‘isn’t available’. Despite phoning the office in advance to check the class was in on the day. This time the staff tried to tell us the smaller car they were offering was in the same higher class - a call to Enterprise Customer Services confirmed it wasn’t.

  We hired a medium sized car via a third party plattform but chose Enterprise explicitly as I have had good experiences in Germany with that company. The Stirling branch did not delude me. All staff we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. We were guided through the process and explained everything patiently even when I had to ask several times. We received what I consider a better car then what we booked, new and perfectly clean. The return process was quick and without any problems. Again very friendly staff. I am really happy about this car hire which contributed very much to a great holiday in Scotland. Thank you!
