  Generally a really good experience. In particular, the guys on-site really did try to do everything they could to make things a good experience. Couple minor points. 1 - I picked up a couple parking fines during hire. My fault obviously. But, if I'd have got the paperwork through quicker for the first, I might have avoided the second. Appreciate there are delays with paperwork etc tho. Particularly frustrating you get charged £35 admin fee each time - again, if I got the feedback quicker, I could have avoided the second. 2. Confusion re returning the vehicle for travel. The national line said it was ok to pick up at Lichfield and drop at Heathrow whilst away. Local branch disagreed - a bit stressful when you have impending travel! Eventually the local branch agreed with national. Just a few little things that if smoothed out would really help.

  Misled by staff regarding early return refund. ​I am not happy with the service here. Before renting, I specifically asked the counter staff if I would get a refund for an early return, and they said yes but haven't mentioned that I must make payment at counter. When I returned the car 4 days early, they confirmed the refund again but also haven't mentioned the rules of refund. ​However, my statement showed no refund. When I went back to ask, they changed their story, saying online bookings aren’t eligible for refunds. I was misled twice by their staff. Avoid if you expect clear policies.
