  This Place is Good for a service vehicle check, but would suggest to upgrade there external office. Looks boarded up as you go in to office.

  Absolutely superb service. Managed to get the tyre in and fitted as soon as I turned up. Suggested tracking and it was found to be out front and back . Carried out adjustment and now the drive of my Volvo XC90 feels amazing on the road. Becky and the team were all excellent ! Will definitely use from now on . !

  1 STAR – Absolutely appalling service – avoid this company I would give zero stars if Google allowed it. We took our company Class 7 truck to SMS Tyres Guildford on 27th August for its MOT. It was failed on two tyres for alleged cuts and the rear anti-roll bar bushes. To be completely fair, the bushes did need replacing and we have absolutely no complaint about that part of the MOT. We had them replaced by our own mechanic the very same day. The tyres are a very different matter. We immediately took the truck to another reputable tyre company and had two new tyres fitted at a cost of £176. We were told that there was nothing wrong with the original tyres and that the alleged cuts did not warrant replacement. We had spoken to the MOT tester outside SMS Tyres and asked him to show us exactly what he had failed. He used a very sharp metal pointed implement to open the cuts, despite MOT guidance referring to the use of a blunt instrument and taking care not to cause further damage. The cuts were less than approximately 10mm wide and there was no cord visible**. We were therefore extremely concerned about the basis on which the tyres had been failed. We had now spent £176 replacing tyres that another reputable tyre company considered serviceable, as well as having the bushes replaced. The truck was ready for its retest. We were told the retest could not be carried out until four days later. For a business relying on a Class 7 vehicle, unnecessarily having a vehicle off the road for four days is extremely disruptive. So, on 28th August – the very next day – we returned to SMS Tyres. We had replaced everything they had failed and were perfectly happy to wait until they could fit us in for the retest. The response from the female manager was frankly unbelievable. Instead of trying to assist or find a solution, she was extremely rude, dismissive and completely unhelpful. She repeatedly deflected from the issue and then wrongly accused us of being aggressive. We were not aggressive. We were understandably frustrated after spending £176 on replacement tyres we had serious doubts should ever have failed, while also having a company vehicle kept off the road. Rather than dealing with our concerns professionally, she told us we were making accusations and ordered us to leave the premises. This is an absolutely shocking way to treat a paying customer. We have no problem whatsoever with vehicles failing MOTs when genuine faults are identified. We had the anti-roll bar bushes replaced immediately. Our issue is the questionable tyre failure, the method used to demonstrate the alleged defects, and the appalling way we were treated when we raised legitimate concerns. It is particularly concerning when a tyre company fails tyres and then has a direct commercial opportunity to sell replacement tyres. After having the original tyres independently assessed and spending £176 on replacements, we are left seriously questioning whether this failure was justified. If you use this company for an MOT, I strongly recommend scrutinising any tyre-related failure and getting a second professional opinion before spending money on replacement tyres. As for the management response, it was simply disgraceful: rude, dismissive, unhelpful and accusatory. We have used plenty of garages and MOT centres over the years and understand that vehicles fail MOTs. That's not the issue. The issue is how you treat customers when there is a legitimate disagreement. SMS Tyres Guildford failed spectacularly on that front. We will never use this company again and would strongly advise other businesses and vehicle owners to look elsewhere. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Avoid.

  Booked a wheel alignment at this company for my golf. They carried out the job quickly and at a great price. The staff were very friendly professional and explained what they had carried out on the car. Very pleased.

  Replacement tyre inflated to 50psi??? Hoping this was an honest mistake but it's extremely concerning to say the least
