Popped in with a nail in my tyre, I got friendly, fair and impressively quick service.
This was my first visit since moving to the area, and I was treated like a regular.
Most importantly, the tyre was properly repaired — no upselling, no fuss, just honest work.
Exactly the kind of local garage you hope to find. Will definitely be back (hopefully not for another nail).

Very poor service. I was the second car in first thing, agreed the tyre needed, and was told I’d get a call around 14:00. No call—had to chase at 15:30 and was told it had “just come in.”
Returned immediately and was met with abrupt, unfriendly staff. Told to stay with my car rather than leave keys, then ordered out onto the road when trying to briefly move to let another vehicle pass—no willingness to listen.
After that I was effectively sidelined. Other cars arriving later were dealt with first. At one point my wheel was removed and the staff member disappeared to buy food, leaving me waiting.
Disorganised, rude, and dismissive throughout. I won’t be returning.
