  Hired and dropped off here plenty of times and never any issues, not had any trouble with false damage claims unlike from other hire companies. Getting receipts and final cost for expense claims etc not always straightforward however.

  Great car hire company. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Next time I need to hire a vehicle they are my go too company. Definitely recommend Enterprise.

  ⚠️ WARNING: Check the car in daylight! Shady damage scam. I had a terrible experience with this company and want to warn others, so they don’t fall into the same trap. We collected our rental car after dark. The staff had deliberately parked the vehicle tight up against a fence in a very poorly lit area. We noticed some marks around the car and pointed them out, but the staff explicitly told us "not to worry about it." We had the car for less than 24 hours, drove it carefully, and returned it. They have now hit us with an outrageous £800 bill for a scuff at the very bottom of the bumper. We raised a formal complaint, but customer service completely brushed us off and immediately passed the bill to a debt recovery agency instead of resolving it. It is clear to us now that the car was parked in that dark corner on purpose to hide pre-existing damage. Do not trust their staff. If you must hire from them, force them to move the car into a well-lit area, inspect every inch, and ensure absolutely everything is written down on the paperwork. Avoid this company if you can!

  After returning the courtesy car to the garage, I was later informed of alleged tyre damage and warned that further payment might be required. A demand for £150 then followed—exactly the amount of my excess—along with a sizeable admin fee. No evidence of the damage was provided, so I requested proof and a copy of the condition report completed when I collected the vehicle. I was later told the charge would no longer be pursued. Although the overall service was otherwise satisfactory, this experience overshadowed it. I worry that many people might receive similar demands and pay them without question; even my elderly parents said they would have. I hope sharing my experience encourages others to query unexpected charges before paying.
