My BMW i8 had an engine warning light & fault codes for the turbo & air conditioning & I contacted several garages requesting quotes for the works. J Day Engineering replied very quickly with a detailed quote (none of the other garages replied). Their quote included an upfront independent check that the work I'd asked was actually what was required. This confirmed the turbo needed replacing but the air con issue turned out to be electrical. I have no doubt if I'd taken the car to BMW they would have simply replaced the air con system a hugely expensive job on an i8. Throughout the process the communication from the team at J Day was excellent. My car now has no check engine light & no fault codes and is a pleasure to drive again. I highly recommend J Day Engineering particularly if you have a complicated vehicle like an i8 as it's very hard to find experts you can trust.

Fantastic service.
Had a repair done as part of my EV warranty. It's quite a drive for me but they gave me a courtesy car and my car was all sorted and ready two days later as promised.
Shout out to Ryan and Karl for the excellent communication, friendly and very efficient service.
Honestly I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the best garage I've ever used! Even though it's an hours drive away - I think I might use them going forward!

Dashboard told me my Mercedes Sprinter 316 based Motorhome was due a service. As the MOT was due as well I combined the two. I visited J Day Engineering, spoke to Chloe on reception. She was cheerful, friendly and approachable. We agreed a date for the work. I received a email quote for the anticipated work shortly afterwards. The quote itself was reasonable. Having had the work done, I picked up the van early afternoon. The actual bill came in UNDER the quote, which was a nice surprise. All in all, a very pleasant experience. As Chloe was the first impression of this garage, what a star to have on reception. I'm new to this area, so relied on previous reviews. I have been honest with this review and hope others find this helpful.

MX5 went in for a track 4 wheel alignment to spec. They nailed it where others failed. Car feels unbelievable compared to before it went in. Big thanks to the whole team for their understanding, skills, professionalism, and wealth of knowledge. Feels fantastic to finally let this car come to life after a spring of endless work!
