  This petrol station is an absolute embarrassment. This is not a one-off it has happened multiple times now where we’ve gone for fuel during the clearly advertised opening hours and found the entire place shut. Tonight was the final straw. We arrived at 21:38, after checking Tesco’s own opening times, which state the station is open until 10pm. Instead, it was completely closed: shutters down, lights off, no access to fuel. We didn’t just stumble across it we drove down specifically for petrol, trusting the information Tesco provides. That trust was clearly misplaced. For a company the size of Tesco, this level of incompetence is frankly shocking. Either the station is closing early without warning, or the published opening hours are flat-out wrong both are unacceptable. Petrol stations aren’t a convenience you can guess at; people rely on them to get home, to get to work, and to not waste time and fuel driving to a locked forecourt. If Tesco can’t manage something as basic as accurate opening times, then customers deserve an explanation not silence and wasted journeys. At this point, this station is unreliable and not worth the risk. If this is Tesco’s idea of being “open until 10pm”, then the opening times are fiction and so is the customer service.
