  Noleggio truffa, pur avendo pagato il pacchetto più costoso, un modo per trattenere la cauzione lo hanno trovano. Si sono attaccati al fatto che c’era dello sporco nei posti piedi. Se ci fossero stati i tappetini il problema non si sarebbe creato, ma non li mettono apposta. La macchina ce l’hanno consegnata tutta sporca all’esterno. Fare foto con la macchina sporca è difficile perché non si vedono bene le imperfezioni già presenti, anche qua lo fanno apposta per trattenere la cauzione. La macchina ce l’hanno consegnata con una goccia di carburante. Riconsegnare la macchina senza carburante è di fatto impossibile, per cui loro ci guadagnano sempre. Quando abbiamo espresso le nostre perplessità ci hanno deriso facendo battute sapendo che avevano ovviamente il coltello dalla parte del manico. Non è gente onesta.

  Pleasantly surprised! I have been renting from Green Motion for years and, while there has been always a certain amount of aggravation during the collections and returns, mostly at their Heathrow point, they are not as bad as many other car rentals ... in a few words, despite the said aggravation, they have never scammed me. The past week we landed in Birmingham and dealing with Mr. KARTHIK P., has been an absolute pleasure. The gentleman is very polite and, even if he had to try to push some upsales, I never felt the slightest intimidation, which I think is normal at many other car rentals, whose business model is like organised crime. Well done Green Motion Birmingham and keep a hold on Mr. KARTHIK P., as he's one of your valuable assets.

  Esperienza negativa, abbiamo chiesto un tipo di auto e una volta lì non era disponibile. Vogliono che la macchina sia restituita con la stessa quantità di carburante che ti lasciano all'inizio, ovviamente difficile quantificare. Non ci è stato detto nulla sulla pulizia dell'auto, consegnata già non in ottime condizioni. Alla riconsegna ci hanno fatto pagare 96 sterline perché c'era dello sporco a terra nei posto davanti (tappetini assenti). Per non pagare dovevamo andare a pulirla, mettendoci troppo tempo e rischiando di perdere il volo. Cosa che loro sanno benissimo e per cui ci hanno ben deriso.

  The staff at Green Motion Birmingham Airport were friendly and helpful when I collected and returned the car. However, customers should be very careful about the additional charges in the rental terms. I later received a PCN and was charged a £68 administration fee by Green Motion simply for processing the notice. This fee is completely separate from the actual fine. More importantly, the £68 administration fee is applied to **each individual PCN**, rather than once for the rental as a whole. This means that if you receive two PCNs during the same rental, you could be charged £136 in administration fees alone, on top of the actual fines. Another important point is that, as Green Motion explained to me, the administration fee can still be charged even if the PCN is successfully appealed and later cancelled, because the fee relates to their administrative handling of the notice, such as receiving it, processing the rental details and contacting you by email. £68 per ticket is an extremely high administration fee, especially when the discounted amount of the PCN itself can be considerably lower than the administration fee. Although the fee is mentioned in the terms and conditions, this was not something that was clearly brought to my attention when I rented the car. I would strongly recommend that anyone renting here reads all the terms regarding PCNs, traffic violations and administration charges very carefully. The staff were friendly, but customers should be aware of these potentially very high additional costs before renting.

  Extremely Poor Customer Service, Unfair Charges, and False Damage Claims My experience with Green Motion Birmingham was one of the worst car rental experiences I've ever had. The customer service was virtually nonexistent. Whenever I needed assistance, I repeatedly called the Birmingham branch and other Green Motion phone numbers, but nobody answered. During my trip, I needed to extend my rental, but because I couldn't reach anyone, I had no choice but to return the car in the middle of my journey, completely disrupting my travel plans. A rental company that cannot be reached when customers need urgent assistance is simply unacceptable. When I collected the vehicle, it already had scratches. At the time of return, I was accused of causing additional damage, even though the areas they pointed out were already scratched. I strongly dispute these damage claims and believe I was unfairly blamed for pre-existing damage. They then told me the repair cost was over £1,200 and suggested that I should simply claim it through my insurance company. That is not an acceptable solution when I do not believe I caused the alleged damage in the first place. It felt as though I was being pressured into accepting responsibility for damage that already existed. Another frustrating issue was the toll charges. I was never informed that certain roads used automatic toll payments or how the process worked. Instead of explaining this when I picked up the car or allowing me to pay the toll directly, Green Motion later emailed me stating they would charge my card. The actual toll was only around £2, yet I ended up being charged approximately £100 after administration and other fees. Charging such an excessive amount over a £2 toll is unreasonable and completely disproportionate. Overall, the entire rental experience caused unnecessary stress and left me feeling that I was being charged for things that were not my fault. Between the unanswered phone calls, being forced to return the car early because I couldn't extend the rental, the disputed damage claim exceeding £1,200, and the excessive toll fees, I lost confidence in this company. For comparison, I rented from Alamo for a week immediately afterward for about the same amount I had been paying Green Motion. The difference was remarkable. Alamo's pickup and return process was quick, transparent, professional, and completely hassle-free. There were no hidden surprises, no disputes, and excellent customer service. That experience showed me how a reputable car rental company should treat its customers. I cannot recommend Green Motion Birmingham based on my experience. If you decide to rent from them, thoroughly inspect the vehicle, take detailed photos and videos of every inch before leaving the lot, keep records of every attempt to contact them, and be aware that you may face significant charges that you could end up disputing.
