I took my car in to have a tyre replaced due to a slow puncture. I later collected my car but after driving for 20 miles the warning light appeared for the tyre that should have been replaced. It transpired that they had changed the wrong tyre. I rang the garage, they apologised and said that they would correct their mistake that day but that they closed at 5. I then had to drive back to the garage and they sorted their mistake. However, I find it hard to believe that they got something so basic, so wrong. Although they apologised they were very relaxed about the whole thing as though it was no big deal and “mistakes happen and maybe the fitter misheard”. What if I had been on my way to London and had been unable to return to the garage before 5? This could have been very dangerous as all advice regarding a slow puncture is not to drive on it as it could suddenly burst. Due to their mistake I ended up driving a total of about 40 miles on a dangerous tyre. My advice to anyone using this garage to replace a tyre would be to put some big red crosses on the faulty tyre so that this does not happen to them. My advice to the garage would be to sort your system out so that you don’t just rely on the fitter hearing the correct instructions.

absolutely useless. waited almost 2 weeks to get in to diagnose a turbo issue, i get a call in the afternoon to say they won’t even look at the car because it’s lowered! when you open the bonnet the turbo is directly at the front, you can’t even access it from underneath but their reason for not looking was because they “couldn’t get it on the ramp” no other garage has had a problem! they’ve not even opened the bonnet or they’d have seen that. what a waste of time

I had a slow puncture on one of my run flat tyres. Hi Performance 1 managed to repair it saving over £80. I have used this branch several times and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
