  I had a great experience with Anthony at D&G auto care. Serviced my M140i and looked after me from start to finish. Really knowledgable, professional and clearly knows his stuff. Also let me in on a few things I didn’t know about my car I’ve had for 4 years. Had a good talk about performance upgrades too so will definitely be back, thank you so much. Anthony.

  I’ve been using this garage for over six years and have experienced a service delivery problem and regressive customer service for quite some time now. Avoid this garage in Shawfield for your MOT & car repair needs as they are profit driven and would wrongfully diagnose your vehicle in order to generate jobs and business for themselves. Their service have been declining over time as staff retention issues became increasingly visible & difficult for whatever reason. To forewarn is to forearm!

  Bit of a long one but I have had no other option but to bring it to this! D&G Autocare Shawfield Rutherglen Since February my car has been continuously in and out of this garage getting work done which has all been fine till April when my car started to smoke contacted them and took the car in and found it was my thermostat that was leaking and the coolant was dripping out. They were working on getting parts sorted and getting it fixed(which cost a fortune and cheap parts were used).Since then my car hasn’t been running right , contacted someone else to have a look at my car with a different issues and little did I know thermostat wasn’t replaced right, unit was cracked in 3 places and they had siliconed the pipe to it, which caused the coolant to still continue to leak out the car and overheat my engine to 120 degrees. I have been driving the car since April thinking they had done the job right with 3 children in it and we are very lucky that it hasn’t blown up with us in it. Now I have had to pay out again to have it fixed as it has been off the road for 4 weeks. Emailed their head office on 22/07/2026 got a call on 23/07/2026 asking for photos to be sent, sent photos and no update. Called on 06/08/2026 the man in the garage didn’t know anything about it and got the Manager Scott to call me so he did the same day asking for the parts to taking to them so they can send the faulty parts back, told them I don’t have the parts so then passed it on to his boss Michael to call me, later on that day he called. Speaking to me so patronising like a was a wee girl on the phone , taking no accountability for their mistakes and blaming it on the parts being faulty, part isn’t faulty it was broken while being fitted to my car in your garage but nothing will be done about it as they don’t have the parts, now I would have got the parts from the other garage if they asked when I first contacted them but was never asked till 2 weeks later and no garage keeps parts for that long even they confirmed that they don’t! Both found it funny when I mentioned that they are lucky my car never blew up with myself and my children init, but apparently that wouldn’t have caused my car to do that, when it could have as my car was over heating to 120 degrees as the coolant wouldn’t stay in the car. Now I have had no other option but to take legal action against them to get my money back after contacting them again to resolve it before taken action.
