- PJPaul Johnson6 days ago2.0The good news is they worked. The bad news is they advertise 250kW but I never got above 80kW and that was only briefly. For most of the time it topped out at 50.5kW. On the plus side, it was ridiculously expensive. EV charging away from home remains poor quality.
- SSStuart StoterSep 13, 20261.0Chose this location due to large bank of chargers. Bad experience Had to try 3 chargers to get one working. Other drivers saying the same. Had to call Applgreen. Assistant was trying to be helpful but did not solve the problem. Chargers must do better than this. Turn up, plug in, charge, pay, leave.
- RTRichard TempletonAug 16, 20261.0Dishonest practice for Applegreen to claim these as 240kW chargers. On a mild summers day the highest any car there was pulling was 60kW (my Ioniq5 wouldn't connect to first charger, the second one max'd at 54kw). I gave up and moved onto other chargers with a more acceptable charging speed (and run by competitors who are more honest about the capabilities of their product). On top of all that, the Services are pretty grim and rundown. Lesson learnt, I'd advise others to avoid.
- IIIvanAug 12, 20261.0Difficult but I don't think it was applegreens fault, company ful card was blocked but the supplier (allstar) didn't th8nk to let me know. So a Difficult few hours trying to get the EV charged. Ended costing me £50 on my credit card. AVOID the services for food..Burger king £12+ just gor a whopper. A bit dirty and lots of rubbish just thrown everywhere. Come on people pick your rubbish up!
