- IBIan ByrneApr 19, 20264.0Connected Kerb have 6 charging posts by the entrance to the Childe's East car park, which is behjnd the Talbot Inn, but not directly accessible from the main road. You need to have downloaded their app, but it operated smoothly offering a choice of 2 tariffs - one using thd full 7kW available and a cheaper rate (only half the unit cost of most rapid chargers) where you give them the time you want the car to be available and ghd percentage charge level. I chose this option, but overnight it charged the car to 99% not the requested 80%. Az thd rate was competitive I wasn't too concerned. The big problem with this location is that despite the parking bays being marked as EVs only, anyone seems to use them at popular times. The photo shows how all spaces were occupied, but mine was hhe only actual EV.
