Took for MoT, had a very cold spell and battery flat, so I sorted that first. I said there were warning lights on that needed clearing but hadn't been able to sort it, guy said no problem he'd get them to squeeze it in and use their diagnostic machine. This cleared the faults so MoT pass, but needed a new ABS sensor, apparently light would come back on after 60mph. They called and said £85, what they neglected to say was £60 diag fee and obvious labour charges, meaning a £300 bill! Receptionist couldn't care less and eventually said she'd ask a manager who was equally dismissive, just kept repeating "you always have to pay for diags, do you realise how expensive the machine is?" Refused to address the fact that they offered to do it and no-one explained fees. I had planned on booking my other car in but will go elsewhere. No apologies, no I'll let them know to make sure they say in future, no lessons learnt and zero customer care. Also they'd had for it two days and when I called for progress update, it was ready, they could have let me know! Also all managers were out and so were the people I had dealt with. They did offer to speak to someone next week but as it was hard work to get miserable receptionist (who took calls whilst dealing with me, I just felt an inconvenience) to do anything so I didn't bother.
