    Staff were extremely helpful. There was a bit of a queue when I arrived, the team worked through it swiftly and I was on the road within half an hour.

    Sloppy service. Used 3 times (regrettably my company has a contract with them) 1st time - car was filthy 2nd time - I booked an auto but they contacted me 15 mins before to say they only had a manual and was this ok? I had no choice but to agree. Asked for a full tank of fuel which they agreed to but when dropped of this wasn’t provided either 3rd time - late drop off. Called the branch who said maybe I should book half an hour earlier next time to give them enough time. (It was booked way ahead in advance and I was being held to account for their lateness) You have my details on record feel free to contact me to discuss. Do better.

    We had a confirmed, prepaid reservation (ref: 2114158279) for collection at Sheffield City Centre on 29 May 2026 at 9:30am. I received an email saying "YOUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED" and even got a check-in reminder the day before. On the morning of collection, I received an email at 8am, just 90 minutes before pickup, saying no car was available. I needed the car by 10am to drop my parents to the airport for their flight. When I called the branch, nobody picked up initially. When someone did answer, they were rude, offered no solution, and said the earliest they could provide a car was 5-6pm, completely useless given the circumstances. I had to book with another provider at short notice, paying more than double the original price. When I raised a formal complaint, Enterprise's response was that a confirmed reservation does not guarantee a vehicle. I would ask anyone reading this: if "YOUR RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED" doesn't mean your reservation is confirmed, what does it mean? Despite invoking the Consumer Rights Act 2015, citing specific legal grounds, and requesting reimbursement of just £105 in additional costs, the area manager stopped responding entirely. No car. No adequate solution. No compensation. No response. Avoid.

    Very disappointing experience with Enterprise. I had a car booked for 9:00am, but on the morning of collection I was told that they did not have a confirmed vehicle available due to “high demand”. This was extremely inconvenient, as I had made plans around the booking and expected the car to be ready at the agreed time. Customer service was unable to provide a proper solution. The only options I was effectively given were to accept a refund or wait until around 5:00pm, which was completely unreasonable for a booking that was supposed to start at 9:00am. They said they would try to find an alternative, but nothing was resolved in the end. What makes this even more frustrating is that rental companies are very quick to charge customers cancellation fees, late fees, and other charges when the customer is at fault. However, when Enterprise failed to provide the vehicle I had booked, they offered no compensation whatsoever. Because this happened at the last minute, I had to book with SIXT instead and pay significantly more than I should have. Enterprise did not agree to cover the difference, reimburse the extra cost, or offer any meaningful compensation for the disruption. A confirmed booking should be honoured. If a company cannot provide the vehicle, especially at such short notice, they should take responsibility and provide a suitable alternative or compensate the customer for reasonable additional costs. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this branch if you need a reliable car rental at a specific time.
