- MWMark WebsterAug 10, 20261.0I’ve used this garage for around 18 years, but unfortunately this experience has completely changed my view of them. I took my vehicle in for a service, and the sump plug was not leaking beforehand. Despite the recommendation to fit a new plug, the old one was refitted after the service. It subsequently started leaking, and rather than replacing it immediately, they attempted to tighten it further. When that didn’t resolve the problem, a new sump plug was eventually fitted — only for the leak to become even worse. I was then told that the thread in the sump pan had been damaged and that the entire sump pan would need replacing. When I collected the vehicle and raised my concerns, the manager dismissed my complaint, stating that the sump plug was positioned to the side of the engine and that they would not have touched the sump pan during the service. Given the sequence of events, I found this explanation extremely difficult to accept. After 18 years of using this garage, I’m very disappointed to say that I will not be returning. Trust and confidence are important when leaving your vehicle with a garage, and unfortunately mine has been completely lost. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this garage thinks carefully and gets a second opinion. It’s a great shame to see how far the service has declined over the years.

I found an air conditioning regas on Groupon for £50, so I called to book and asked if they'd prefer me to pay them directly instead, so they could avoid Groupon's fees. I was told to "leave it to me," so I assumed I'd still be paying the same price. After the regas was completed, I was presented with an £80 bill instead. Serves me right for trying to support a local business. I won't be going back, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them based on this experience.

I’m going to share my entire experience with these guys that led to them leaving my car seats (with 2 children’s car seats) ripped out & not put back & a price quote of £1100 that actually costs £200 to fix. I ended up using this garage In an emergency, as it was close to my home and my car would not start. My husband had already figured out it was the petrol pump that was faulty. However, this garage manipulated me into getting a diagnostic test which cost around £180. When I asked for the report of the diagnostic test I was told by the guy in reception they do not give reports. He said he would just write on the receipt That the petrol pump is faulty. He then gave me the quote for £1100 To which I refused as my husband had already gotten a quote from another garage for £200. I went to my car I found the diagnostic report in it, it reported nothing regarding the petrol pump! So I believe they knew all along it was the petrol pump which would explain why he refused to give me the diagnostic report! which said nothing about a petrol pump so they ran this test just to get money out of me knowing full well it was the petrol pump all along. Also, all my backseat were ripped up Unbolted and left like this when I asked why he said you’ll need it like this to get to the petrol pump. The garage that fixed my car said this was unnecessary they did not need the seats unbolted & lifted off to repair this! perhaps this was done to a mother of two out of spite for refusing to pay £1100z These men are not only unprofessional, but they have no clue about what Work they are taking On. When they asked me to leave my car in their garage The next day they rang me asking why my car was there. Very rude unProfessional and out to completely rob people blind. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE!!! Especially if you’re a women!!
