  RENT IN ARNOLD CLARK RENTAL – ENTERPRISE IS A RIP-OFF I hired a vehicle on 7 August 2026 for three days at a rate of £51.13 per day, which I subsequently extended for a further three days. The total should therefore have been £306.78, yet I was charged a total of £553, with absolutely no explanation or breakdown of the charges. I asked the staff to print out a detailed breakdown of the amounts charged, but they refused to do so. This clearly gave me the impression that they were trying to conceal the actual charges. Neither when I collected the vehicle nor when I returned it did they provide me with a proper explanation, claiming that part of the amount was VAT, even though the original booking clearly states that VAT is included. To make matters even worse, when checking my card statement, I discovered three separate charges of €285.83 + €134.77 + €486.71 = €907.31, equivalent to approximately £775.43. This means I was effectively charged more than £129 per day for a small Mazda. As of today, despite returning the vehicle in perfect condition, I have still received neither any proper explanation nor any refund. This is the first time I have ever had such an experience with a car rental company, despite having hired vehicles in more than 15 different countries. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and using Arnold Clark Rental instead. En español: Contratar ARNOLD CLARK RENTAL; Entreprise es una estafa. Contraté un vehículo el día 7 de agosto de 2026 por tres dias con una tarifa de 51,13 libras que luego amplié por otros tres días. El importe habría sido 306,78 libras, si bien me encuentro que me cobran un total de 553 libras, sin explicación alguna sobre los detalles o extras. Solicito que me impriman el documento con los detalles de los importes y me lo expliquen, no lo hacen, lo cual es una nuestra clara de querer ocultar el importe cobrado. Ni a la entrega ni a la devolución lo hacen, excusándose en que parte es el IVA, si bien, en la reserva se observa claramente IVA incluido. Para más inri, observo en mi tarjeta como se me realizan tres cargos por importe de 285,83€+134,77€+486,71€=907,31, es decir, 775,43 libras, más de 129 libras por día por un Mazda pequeño. A día de hoy y a pesar de entregar el coche en perfectas condiciones continuo sin recibir explicación ni importe de devolución ninguno. Es la primera vez que tengo esta experiencia en una casa de alquiler de vehículos habiendo alquilado en más de 15 países distintos.
