  I’d give them 9 stars 🌟 now!! So, I had been an unhappy customer due to a previous bad experience with them around 7months ago but, I have recently come back to Enterprise because my usual hire company had no cars available. I have to say that i was pleasantly impressed with the standard of service this time around. I unfortunately have a disability which means lots of medical appointments and often need to hire a car. Going back to Enterprise this time, i thought it would be an one off but when i collected the car, i noticed that not only the layout of the office changed but also there was new management and one that absolutely made service improve massively, and also new lovely staff members. Both managers and staff are polite, sympathetic and professional. They not only do their job but now also provide excellent customer service. While waiting my turn I have seen them going above and beyond to help other customers and their care towards others and myself shows the level of service they now provide: Making sure we the customers are happy with their service, they call prior to collection of the car, and even check in with us after every car hire with a courtesy phone call. And they offer pick up/drop off service which i find very helpful in my current condition. I will surely continue to use their service and highly recommend them. Thank you Ayr team! Keep up the great service!

  I've hired at least 6/7 cars now from this branch and everytime I'm due a refund it seems to take them weeks rather than days and not sure why because one of the refunds out of all the hires I had was processed within 3 days so why is it different for the rest when I'm using the exact same card I have for all of the hires! My last hire I had to cancel due to personal issues and said they would refund my money back. Still nothing after 6 days and nothing shown on my bank to say I'm getting the refund and every time I call about it they keep saying they will get that sent off. It's like they pick and choose when to send the refunds..

  Great experience with Enterprise Ayr. Azar was really friendly, helpful and made the whole process completely hassle-free. Excellent service from start to finish — would definitely recommend.

  RENT IN ARNOLD CLARK RENTAL – ENTERPRISE IS A RIP-OFF I hired a vehicle on 7 August 2026 for three days at a rate of £51.13 per day, which I subsequently extended for a further three days. The total should therefore have been £306.78, yet I was charged a total of £553, with absolutely no explanation or breakdown of the charges. I asked the staff to print out a detailed breakdown of the amounts charged, but they refused to do so. This clearly gave me the impression that they were trying to conceal the actual charges. Neither when I collected the vehicle nor when I returned it did they provide me with a proper explanation, claiming that part of the amount was VAT, even though the original booking clearly states that VAT is included. To make matters even worse, when checking my card statement, I discovered three separate charges of €285.83 + €134.77 + €486.71 = €907.31, equivalent to approximately £775.43. This means I was effectively charged more than £129 per day for a small Mazda. As of today, despite returning the vehicle in perfect condition, I have still received neither any proper explanation nor any refund. This is the first time I have ever had such an experience with a car rental company, despite having hired vehicles in more than 15 different countries. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and using Arnold Clark Rental instead. En español: Contratar ARNOLD CLARK RENTAL; Entreprise es una estafa. Contraté un vehículo el día 7 de agosto de 2026 por tres dias con una tarifa de 51,13 libras que luego amplié por otros tres días. El importe habría sido 306,78 libras, si bien me encuentro que me cobran un total de 553 libras, sin explicación alguna sobre los detalles o extras. Solicito que me impriman el documento con los detalles de los importes y me lo expliquen, no lo hacen, lo cual es una nuestra clara de querer ocultar el importe cobrado. Ni a la entrega ni a la devolución lo hacen, excusándose en que parte es el IVA, si bien, en la reserva se observa claramente IVA incluido. Para más inri, observo en mi tarjeta como se me realizan tres cargos por importe de 285,83€+134,77€+486,71€=907,31, es decir, 775,43 libras, más de 129 libras por día por un Mazda pequeño. A día de hoy y a pesar de entregar el coche en perfectas condiciones continuo sin recibir explicación ni importe de devolución ninguno. Es la primera vez que tengo esta experiencia en una casa de alquiler de vehículos habiendo alquilado en más de 15 países distintos.
