  I'm on holiday in the UK and rented a car from Sixt for 10 days, only to discover the wiper was faulty — a serious safety issue given how much it rains here. I called 5–6 times. Each time I was passed around, given no resolution, and never received the manager callback I was promised. Their "fix"? Drive 3 hours each way in the rain, with little to no visibility, to swap the car myself — while still paying full price. No compensation. No support. And when I pushed for help, I was told someone would "come back to me in 2–3 days" — so I'm left stranded on holiday, unable to safely drive anywhere, losing days of a trip I paid top dollar for. Sixt has perfected the art of avoiding responsibility. Top dollar paid, bottom-tier service delivered. If you value safety or basic customer care, look elsewhere.

  I always come back to Sixt for the service and Rafa is the main man is Glasgow, he is knowledgeable and always makes great vehicle and insurance recommendations with a friendly smile

  Our experience renting the MG SUV was excellent. We appreciate receiving the vehicle that we booked on-line and the price was exactly what was quoted. Our experience with other companies has been with them trying to upgrade with an increased price. We appreciate getting what we booked. All the employees that we met were efficient and pleasant. This is our second time booking with Sixt and we will continue in the future.

  DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! This company is a complete scam. I picked up my rental car it was only 1/2 full of gas. I drove it and got a flat tire in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. The rental car company didn’t give me a spare tire so I had no way to help myself. I called there team for help, I was left stranded on the side of the road all night. They called me and told me that no one could come get me or the car (this is after I had been stranded there for over 6 hours). I have placed countless calls to this company trying to get this situation resolved, and try and get a replacement rental car they had no desire to help the rental car sat on the side of the road for several days. I would have been stranded there with it if I didn’t order myself a taxi. Their customer support is nonexistent I have called so many times asking to speak to a manager, they said that they don’t have managers and all they can do is transfer me to roadside assistance who I’ve talked to hundreds of times who told me that they can’t help me and they can’t come and get me because they can’t find anyone. What is the point of roadside assistance if they will not get you? I would try and request a refund and they told me they would forward me to someone only to leave me on hold for over two hours and then hang up on me. I never got to speak to anyone. I did this process multiple times I probably spent around 14 hours trying to talk to this company And no action was taken. This experience was so horrible it ruined my whole trip and I had to cancel the rest of my trip and fly home early as I could not make it to any of my reservations without a car or a replacement rental car. Then a couple days later, I get an email from them stating a long list of fake damages on the car, however there’s not a single photo of any of these damages and the crazy part is is they don’t even mention the one real damage that actually was on the car, which is the flat tire and rim scrape from getting a flat tire from a pot hole!
