- ADAdrian DavidsonOct 8, 20262.0Disappointed. After a 15 minute queue, the staff member (who was pleasant and helpful) told me my booking had no insurance cover. I booked with Sixt last year and the standard was “No extra protection” with a £1600 excess. Fair enough. Now the same “No extra protection” has zero protection and the fear you’ll need to pay for the entire cost of the car if there’s an accident. Resolving this at the desk cost £38 for an 8 hour hire. As a customer it feels so cynical and disingenuous. Additionally I’d tried to check-in online before arriving at the airport to save time but couldn’t do so without selecting a different car - all of which cost more than what I’d pre-booked. All very disappointing as the car itself was great, the staff friendly and the returns experience easy. Nonetheless I won’t be using or recommending Sixt in the future.

Parkplatz der Autos recht eng, mit Koffer schwer zu laufen. Auto war sauber und ohne Schäden. Kostenlos besseres Auto erhalten. Bis jetzt alles gut. Wir haben noch 5 Tage bis zur Abgabe.
