Excellent mechanical overhaul on my high-mileage vehicle, though the technical logistics over the weekend were quite frustrating.
I brought my 2013 Mondeo to the garage for a brand new turbocharger, catalytic converter, and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) stack. Mechanically, the work was phenomenal, and the car runs smoother and faster than it has in years.
However, the turnaround took longer than expected due to an ECU calibration issue on Friday. The team had to send the car to a local specialist workshop across town to get the dealer-level coding done, which delayed things significantly. While the front desk staff was incredibly polite, communicative, and offered excellent customer service to track the progress, I had to wait until past 5:00 PM on a Friday.
Over the weekend, the car initially threw an engine malfunction warning light and dropped into limp mode. I took it on a 50-mile road test, and once the computer completed its adaptation monitors and ran a deep active DPF regeneration cycle, the lights cleared permanently. The car is now 100% solid and running perfectly. Highly recommended for heavy mechanical work with a national warranty.
