  Be really careful when renting from this branch. I feel completely cheated by the way they sold me their 'extra protection' (EXS). At the counter, I was explicitly told that paying for this would mean I’d have 'full coverage' and zero financial liability if anything happened. That turned out to be a lie. When a minor issue occurred, they completely ignored the protection I paid for and went straight after my personal insurance instead. Since then, I’ve tried calling the branch multiple times to get this sorted, but nobody ever picks up or answers. It’s impossible to get any support. Because of their misleading sales tactics, I’ve lost 4 years of No Claims Bonus, which will cost me a fortune in future insurance premiums. Do not trust what they say at the counter—they mis-sell the product and then disappear when you need help. Avoid this place if you want to protect your insurance record.

  VERY disappointing and bad service! We booked a car and had all our vacation booked because we received a car booking confirmation. To go to there place in Botley and they say we have no car for you!!!! They ruining a whole trip even though we received a booking confirmation. Very bad and disappointing. NON RELIABLE.

  A long overdue review, as my rental was some months ago. I needed a vehicle to explore the Cotswolds for a day. After seeing many terrible reviews for another car rental business in the area, I chose Enterprise. My experience was great, staff was friendly and helpful, and the little Peugeot was nice.

  This used to be a good enterprise that I’ve used on at least 3 occasions. Sadly not anymore. It is the worst experience I’ve had with a hire company. I was provided with the wrong information about the deposit required to start with. I then received a van which was filthy with a tail light out - not ideal when doing a 700 mile round trip in winter time. I was The cab also had enterprise paper work with the contact details and names of the previous persons renting the vehicle - bit worrying. I called the branch and was told I’d get a call back the next day but didn’t. They didn’t seem to care. I then had the van break down on me on the return journey - the van had approx. 12,000miles on the clock. Enterprise sent the wrong contact details to the breakdown company, meaning I was sat in the van all day. The breakdown recovery company couldn’t find me and went to another job because the mobile number they gave the AA was incorrect. As we were moving house, we were left without a clean set of clothes or any of our things for a two days - not great when you’re moving a retired lady down from Newcastle whose partner has recently died They knocked one day off the bill, but wouldn’t refund anything more - not even the excess damage waiver for an already damaged van. I was promised a call back in December, and despite following this up on at least three occasions, I haven’t heard a word from them. No word from the manager, no word from the area manager as promised, and no follow up from head office. Avoid like the plague. Absolute disgrace.

  It was a bit of a wait to pick-up as they were quite busy, but after that everyhting was perfect. All of the members of staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful - Eves especially was really helpful, and made up for the delay. The car walkaround process was good, picking up on an exisitng dent. The car itself, little Ford Puma, was great and drop-off went smoothly. The whole process was easy. Thank you very much - made our Cotswolds trip possible! Would rent again!
