  Easy process from start to finish, both members of staff were very helpful, even though they had officially finished work due to a late pick up, we were not rushed or made to feel unimportant & everything was throughly explained, thank you!

  I had a van hired for an xpo on the weekend. They decide to call me at 16:50 the day before I was due to collect the next morning telling me there are only small vans available, which would not be suitable. Completely ruined my plans and not given me enough warning to sort new plans so I’m stuck.

  Very disappointing experience. My dad rented a car two months ago, and when we returned it, staff identified a nail in the rear driver-side tyre. We were told the £200 deposit would be used for the repair, and that we would receive an invoice along with any remaining refund from the Damage Recovery Unit. Almost a month passed with no communication. My dad sent an email and received no response. I then called and was told the Damage Recovery Unit would follow up, but again we heard nothing. After chasing again, we finally received an invoice today which appears to have been created today and shows a tyre cost of exactly £200 - conveniently the same amount as the original deposit - with no supporting breakdown or evidence of the actual repair cost. As a result, no refund was issued. Charging £200 for a tyre without any clear evidence or itemised costs seems excessive and unreasonable. The lack of communication, delay, and unclear billing process is very disappointing. I would have expected better transparency and customer service. I would not recommend using Enterprise based on this experience. UPDATE: the £200 was eventually refunded, but only after almost two months and multiple follow-ups.

  Disgraceful experience with Enterprise Banbury. Their return reminder text arrived at 9:15am — suspiciously exactly when the branch opens, not a proper advance notice. I renewed my booking immediately. Yet I was later blamed for giving them "only half an hour's notice" — which is completely false and shows they either don't understand their own system or are deliberately misrepresenting the timeline. To make it worse, when they called demanding I return the car (which I had already validly extended), I was with my wife at a doctor's appointment. I tried to explain this and was cut off mid-sentence. Absolutely no empathy, no professionalism, and no acknowledgement that their overbooking was entirely their own operational failure. I acted immediately upon receiving their reminder. Their scheduling problem is not my responsibility. To then be spoken over and dismissed while accompanying my wife to a medical appointment is simply unacceptable. Avoid this branch. If they overbook, they will blame you, pressure you, and not even have the basic courtesy to let you finish a sentence.
