  I rented a vehicle over a long weekend in May. Several weeks after returning the vehicle, I started receiving traffic violations to my email. All for dates *after* I returned the vehicle. The notifications came a few times a week for several weeks, totaling several hundred pounds. Someone clearly messed something up in the system, and every time someone in the same vehicle I rented drove through a bus gate or parked illegally, I was getting the fine. I called this location many times. I was put on hold for nearly an hour and then hung up on. I was passed around person to person and then blown off. I was promised many emails, and many phone calls. They never came. I wasted hours trying to get this resolved and finally (finally!) someone emailed to confirm they contacted the council after practically harassing them to take action. Well, here I am after returning from holiday to a stack of late fees from the county council. All dated last week. It was never resolved. So many mind numbing hours on their stupid mistake. The lack of accountability and total incompetence has completely put me off this location. Do not rent from here.

  I accidently left some items of value in the car, my fault entirely. I knew where they were, I realised this about 2 hours after returning the car so went back to the depot to see if I could collect them. I just got told they could not find them. I knew where they were placed and told them this, but the reply was they could find anything.

  With the mixed review, we had our doubts as we made the reservation. However, from the moment we arrived to this Enterprise, it all felt right. The staff was excellent! No matter who you spoke to. Might have been some students working over their summer break but that did not matter. Friendly, helpful and did not try any kind of hustle as you (sadly) might expect from a rental agency.

  I visited Enterprise Botley today, and I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Joe and Will for their outstanding help and support. They were both incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. When I ran into this unexpected situation, they went above and beyond to support me and made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. I genuinely cannot imagine better customer service. Joe and Will are a real credit to Enterprise, and Enterprise should be incredibly proud to have such wonderful people as part of the team. Thank you again!

  Upside: I got a car to use - so the bare minimum was achieved. Service was terrible: wait times on site were incredibly long, even though before pick up I'd filled out all my info online as I was asked to "speed things up". Then when we returned the car on a Saturday morning, there was one person working the desk and one person organising the cars outside. There must have been over 20 people all waiting in the office, a queue literally out the door. They were clearly heavily understaffed, which I could have understood apart from there was no effort form the staff to communicate or help the situation. While I was in the queue, one chap came in a politely said it had been over half an hour since someone had gone to "bring the car around". The person behind the desk just said "OK, I don't know how long it will be". That was her whole feedback to the customer. I must have been in the building for well over 20 minutes, in that time not one member of staff apologised to anyone, they didn't set expectations. They never checked if anyone was just dropping a car off in an effort to set up a "express lane". We all know that things go wrong, staff don't turn up, that's all understandable. What really annoyed me was zero attempt to do anything about it, no attempt to communicate, nothing proactive from the team that were there. Just an "OK".
