  Absolutely lovely and efficient from start to finish. Kind, helpful and patient staff team; the team on customer service desk and driver who collected me were all very nice people and made the process easy.

  Booked a car on their website July 2026, then was told no vehicles available; nothing they could do about it, they were asking the website side of the company to please change the availability. Fair enough, I did book it last minute as my mum was in hospital. I have received no refund or reply to any communication since July 18th 2026, so here we are.

  This was my third or fourth time using Enterprise, always with no prior issues. We always look after hire cars as if our own. Took on a small car to save ferry and driving more than necessary. Pickup was fine, I fully inspected the bodywork of the car, although in need of a wash, it was clean enough to see no scratches. I was warned if a scratch over certain CM size would result in 1,750 charge. I had 3rd party cover with Eversure to save concern and cost. On return the team scrutinised everything in detail, two employees. Eventually noting they had spotted what looked like a chip on windscreen, which over 450 miles we had not noticed.10 mins of discussion if even worth bothering, a colleague in Birtley branch said on call that's hardly anything and they should probably scrap the case. 10 days later after keeping deposit, invoice though for 199.99 to cover the cost. Similar to ElenaP who reviewed, perhaps standard Enterprise practice to boost profits. No proof anything actually been done, won't use again. The hassle, the stress, I'll just take my own car in future

  The worst Enterprise branch I've dealt with in the UK. Avoid if you don't want a stressful rental experience. This is my second bad experience with this branch. Back in May of this year I booked an automatic SUV and was downgraded to a manual on arrival. Because I don't hold a credit card, I was made to submit a pile of extra documents before they'd hand over the keys. I was patient and got through it. Last week I booked an automatic car for 25th August through a third party booking platform. Just two hours before pick-up, they rang to say the automatic wasn't available until later that evening and offered me a manual instead. I declined. At that point the agent on the phone, who was rude throughout, flatly told me they wouldn't release the car unless I turned up with a credit card. I explained I'd rented from this exact branch before and was happy to provide extra documents again, and that I'd also rented from Enterprise in Glasgow just a month earlier with no problems whatsoever. She put me on hold to "check with her manager," came back, and claimed the policy had changed and they would not release a car to anyone without a credit card. When I pushed back, she had the audacity to tell me it "wasn't possible" that I'd rented from Enterprise before without even checking their records. I cancelled on the spot. I never received an official cancellation email, and because I'd booked through a third party platform, I lost my £11 advance booking fee. I then booked with Enterprise Coventry and picked up a car with zero hassle on the same day within 2 hours — which tells you everything about how this branch is run. Enterprise Banbury trades on the fact that it's the only real option in the area. The service is garbage, the staff is rude and dismissive, and the rates are inflated £30–50 above what you'll pay in other cities. Take your business elsewhere if you possibly can.
