    My booking online booking went smoothly, for large prestige 4 door saloon vehicle; for my Sons' prom night, after GCSE exams. Didnt get mercedes booked, but got new BMW 3 series M and happened to be blue as my Sons' suit was. So, alright. Sam was excellent in renting vehicle to me. Overall, I was extremely happy with rental and again Sam was exemplary.

    The car hire itself went smoothly. I paid the £18 per day extra cover thankfully. I ended up having the car for 5 days in total which was fine until a stone flicked up and cracked the windscreen. I rang the office to let them know in advance as I knew the screen would need replacing and the guy I spoke to again was lovely and said not to worry it was covered with the extra cover I'd just lose £100 of my deposit as an excess fee. Which again fine, it's annoying but it is what it is. What I didn't need was the lecture from the guy I dropped the car off to about how the £18 per day extra cover was a scam for them and how 'i had won' this time because the repair now has to come out of his pocket?! When I suggested the insurance may cover it he told me I was stupid as no insurance would cover the amount of miles these vehicles travel. (It was a 74 plate with 33,000 miles?) I had now paid £200 in total out of my own pocket for the damage plus the nearly £500 I had spent on actually hiring the car! I honestly didn't feel like 'i had won' at all. And what about all the £18s he collects where nothing goes wrong? I'm not sure if he was the owner as he was in a shirt rather than the enterprise uniform like the rest. But the guy was arrogant and had a disgusting attitude / customer manner and just awful to deal with. I'd avoid coming back here even though all the other staff were lovely and very helpful. He has put me right off.
