  Was told by a member of the customer service team at a central office that a car would be delivered to my address! The Sunderland branch then called to say they can’t do this and it must be collected from Sunderland 8 miles away so I had to go there to collect! A second conversation with a different member of enterprise team told me via a phone call the car would be collected from my home address in Lincolnshire at 5pm on Tuesday only the Grimsby branch to call me to say this couldn’t happen and I’d have to bring it in even though I’d told the guy I lived 25 miles away, said I’d have to drop it off and they would provide a lift back to my home address! Then on the Tuesday morning a very abrupt girl with a can’t do attitude to called to say there’s no way I could be taken back to my address at 5 o clock on a Tuesday night in an obnoxious manner! Clearly the head office customer service team are trying to help the customer, however in the branch the staff are trying to do as little as possible? The girl said they can only drop off within a ten mile radius so I asked if they could drop me off in Louth but she said no as it was outside of the ten mile radius! Didn’t spend £223 for a few days car hire to be spoken to like a child in a patronising manner! Avoid!!

  Let’s you book online only to travel all the way to collect vehicle and they’ve not even got any in stock and not helpful at all not interested one bit

  This was a replacement vehicle on insurance. The Grimsby office customer service couldn’t be better and I was collected/dropped off at the repair garage. Very friendly and efficient staff. Everything was well explained. Lovely car to drive (Mazda CX30). Top marks! I do wish the hire industry would provide the vehicle with a full tank of fuel though (there was a 19km range in the tank when I collected it, that’s not a lot to play with for collection or return). It’s always an ongoing stress and you invariably leave the hire provider in petrol-profit which irritates me esp. at current prices! If you collect/return it full there’s no issue - problem solved. C’mon Enterprise, your standards are high, make them higher. This would be a deciding factor on a hire choice for me and I knocked a star off for this (it’s policy so no fault of the Grimsby office obviously)

  Poor selection of vehicles, have no EVs despite advertising them. Will fob you off with anything while they source the car you require, and then nothing happens.

  Absolutely disgusted with enterprise! Received 2 parking tickets and they have charged us £70 just to forward an email! My parents are disabled so we hired a car to take them away. We stayed in a Travelodge which we were assured by the hotel that if we displayed a blue badge we would not pay for parking. We displayed a blue badge the whole time we were there and still got penalised! Sick to death of being robbed left right and centre by this country! Hope your happy enterprise and the man at the top is happy robbing disable people. Criminal!
