Lack of thought and, in my opinion, suspiciously harsh on the MOT.
I took a gamble on this garage after seeing that the majority of their reviews were positive. However, I would strongly recommend reading the more negative reviews carefully, as my experience was very similar to some of the complaints already mentioned.
I brought in a 15-year-old car for an MOT, only to have a long list of advisories added to the certificate regarding surface rust underneath the car. It’s a 15-year-old vehicle, so some degree of surface rust underneath is hardly unexpected…..
I was also advised that the tyres would need replacing at some point, despite them still having nearly three times the legal minimum tread depth remaining. Given that this is a garage with a tyre business, I couldn’t help but question the motivation behind highlighting this so strongly….sound familiar ?!
The bigger issue came when they identified a major issue that they recommended having repaired. However, they then told me they couldn’t carry out the work until three weeks after my MOT had expired because they were “fully booked”. When I asked about having the work done elsewhere, they strongly suggested that they were the best people to carry it out.
The whole experience left me feeling that there was very little consideration for the customer. I appreciate that garages have a responsibility to identify genuine issues, and I’m not suggesting that a 15-year-old car shouldn’t have advisories. However, there is a difference between responsibly informing a customer about an issue and making a relatively minor matter sound more urgent than it actually is.
Not everyone wants or can afford to drive a brand-new car. I would have expected a little more consideration and customer service rather than simply the attitude of “we’ve done our job, that’s your problem now”.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be bringing any vehicle back to this garage and would highly recommend everyone to start questioning the motives behind this place.

Went there with two wheels and they said both rims had cracks…misleading, almost placing the order for new rims but not necessary, they don’t even to check it
